You know… am I backing Final Girl because I want it, or just because I can’t get Hostage Negotiator? The theme of Final Girl really doesn’t interest me. This has happened to me before - liked the look of a system, but not the theme. The boxes lie on my shelf, unplayed…
I really need to make my mind up before the 4th of February…
I feel like (I’ve never played it so just shooting the sh*t) the theme of final girl is so tied up with the game. It’s kind of the basis for the individual boxes playing into horror movie themes.
I think some of the gameplay has been improved from what I’ve read or watched. But…
If the theme of hostage negotiator appeals more I’d back out and wait for your chance for a reprint.

I remember people saying Snow Tails was better than Flamme Rouge when Flamme Rouge came out. I haven’t yet managed to get into a game, alas.
I have and love both.
Snow Tails has a wonderful “I’m barely in control, but everything is fine (until it’s not)” feeling.
I feel as though it has more excitement to offer than Flamme Rouge, but it is a little less elegant during play, having to fiddle with (small) cards a bit too much

The board my wife bought me was great. Shipped from Texas. She says it was cheaper than any UK board even with the shipping
