Re-engaging with board games after a long time hardly playing anything other than the odd party game and Game of life with my daughter. This is sort of true, but I think that during the last 4-5 years I have sort of caught up.
I enjoy miniature games the most (they take me to my childhood with games like Hero Quest) and I am starting to grow my collection after joining a boardgamers club in Napier, NZ. Not true any more, I am now just South from 90 games in my collection. Miniature games are still good, but I have a wide spread of game tastes.
I come here after the forums of Shut Up & Sit Down announced their closure for the 01/05/20, hopefully to enjoy the same level of respect and good vibe that community had. (And it does!)
