Show off your boxes (photos of your collection)

I see that you have elected to store your collection underwater. A bold choice.

Yeah, I found repeated freeze/thaw cycles weren’t good for the games. It was much easier to maintain a consistent temperature once they were underwater. Highly recommended.

Kallax

Overflow box size and relegated games

I got an extra set of shelves to accommodate all the extra trains so a partial reorganise has occurred. Outside of lumping anything set in the 19th century railways genre I’m kinda stumped for inspiration. Maybe I should go back to box colour organisation. I do quite like having a sci-fi shelf though.

In which dimension does a Gloomhaven box look so tiny?

I have a shrink ray. Think of me as a bit like Rick Moranis.

I have more questions…

what splotter is your most played? your favorite?

what is your favorite game with a weight below 3.5😊?

Food Chain Magnate, partly helped by being my first.

Easy. Indonesia.

What sort of thing were you thinking of here? I’ve been a bit surprised to see what’s actually below that weight. First thing that jumped to mind was 6 Nimmt! but then after sorting by weight I’ll go for Iki now.

Not much thinking that’s for sure. A bit of curiosity as your collection shows a few self-evident preferences

Also still waiting for @pillbox to comment on how you exiled R&B from your splotter shelf…

R&B is a tricky box… And he more than compensates by having so many 18xx games.

I’m amazed to see just how BIG most of those 18xx games are. I had no idea!

It’s only a model. @pillbox snuck in and stole the real one long ago.

Exactly what was going through my mind!

I thought this was too quiet, and my collection is half decent now, so I thought I’d share a pic

I know, no Kallax yet, but we are waiting to buy a house first.

If you don’t have a Kallax, do you really even have a Kollection? :stuck_out_tongue:

Kallaxs are a symptom of a disease. Why, a person who, say, had 70-cubes worth of Kallax shelving would certainly have serious CAD issues.

Computer-aided design issues?

(I know someone who I think has 120-cubes worth of Kallax)

Most of these make regular appearances in the Recent Games thread so congrats to actually playing your collection

kallaxes only make you want to fill the cubes. kallax and CAD are a chicken and egg problem…
