People who may nominate and haven’t yet said they won’t in this round, I think: @Najim @Whistle_Pig @GabrielH
While I think @KIR2 might would have been the better kill, I don’t think we find another player who would be a better one than @RossM …
Therefore no nomination from me.
Guys! I’m right here!
No nomination
So, if neither @RossM or me are evil (and I know I am not), we can assume that @GabrielH was either drunk or evil intentioned. What I don’t have very clear yet is how @GeeBizzle pinged me as evil, when I am not. There cannot be two drunks.
Hmmm I don’t feel good about this, but…
I will not be nominating.
With no further nominations, @RossM is executed (please describe your death) and dusk falls.
RossM walks to the noose, bows and jumps.
walks from the town square, muttering sourly
Wooooooooooo!
Dawn breaks!
But not for everyone… for @Whistle_Pig is no longer among the living. (Please narrate your demise.)
We now start a 24-hour discussion period: no nominations will be accepted, though you’re welcome to say “I plan to nominate X”. After 2021-04-08T15:56:00Z we’ll start a 24-hour nomination period as before. (This is to give everyone a chance to read the discussion before they feel they have to nominate or miss their chance.)
Weird choice of kill?
****'s sake. One of the few people who had any faith in me. Come back Whistlepig
Ooft!
Ok so would be interested to know what DJCT has to say at this point.
@KIR2 whispers to @GeeBizzle
It could have just been a safe kill after no-one died on the second night. I don’t think anyone was suspicious of Whistle_Pig, at least not openly, and the Librarian is a one-and-done role.
Or it could have been a deflection from an attempt on the life of the Mayor.
I will post yesterday’s sparse whisper map soon
Mayor attempt makes sense. @Assussanni does this suggest we don’t have a spy?
The lack of kill on the second night is what makes me think a Spy is unlikely.
The presence of a Baron hinges on whether or not Chewy was evil. If they were then we probably have a Scarlet Person and a Poisoner.
If Chewy was good then we have a Baron and a Scarlet Person… unless GeeBizzle is evil, drunk or poisoned. Then it could be a Baron and a Poisoner.
A stranger is arriving in town… it’s @pillbox the Bureaucrat.
The Traveller Roles and rules are linked in the first post. Quick summary:
- They may be good or evil.
- They do not count as a player for the “two people alive, evil wins” rule.
- But they do count towards the “half or more of the living players” rule.
- They may nominate, vote, act at night, be killed by the demon, etc., as normal.
- Rather than be executed, they can be exiled. This still kills them but you feel better about it. Anyone can call for an exiling, even a dead character, and as many times as day as you like (though a given Outside can only be nominated for exile once per day). There can be an exiling and an execution in the same day.
- A vote to exile does not use up a ghost’s vote token.
- A vote to exile is not affected or restricted by abilities; one character, one vote as they see fit, that’s it.
The Bureaucrat’s power is that each night they choose a player whose votes count triple the next day.
