Factory Fun - I know Factory Funner was mentioned but this is the… second edition of… the original? I think? Gravwell - Great racing game. Myrmes - Ant colony eurogame. Pit Crew - Great 6+ player team game. Sleuth - Great logic deduction game.
Eliminated by @bruitist: Knit Wit - Venn Diagram Scattergories basically. Trapwords - Like Taboo but the other team creates your (secret) list of words you have to avoid.
Eliminated by @pillbox: Indian Summer - The particular Uwe season polyominoe game for us! New York Slice - I cut you choose, gamified with pizza. Nippon Rails - @pillbox you have this one I’m guessing? Watson & Holmes - Great mystery-solving game.
Eliminated by @Mintochris: Paris: La Cite de la Lumiere - Did anyone else pick this up from Tom’s review?
This was a perfect late-night game last time I was at PAX Unplugged. We were all giddy and laughing our heads off at how obvious all of us were being in our roles. At one point I tried to casually ask “How does the hybrid win again?” and everyone was immediately like “Well, Dan’s the hybrid.”
Our friends have Myrmes, so I have played it but I don’t own it
I was going to get Paris but then my downsizing efforts led to the realization that 2 player games are hardly ever a success here… is it as good as it looks?
I’m not usually a buy-before-I-try kinda guy, but I love the aesthetics and the gameplay looked fun and I have to say, we must have played 10 games of it by now and had a great time every time.
That’s why I’ll use python and the BGG API to do most of the analysis for me. The rest will be guesswork and a touch of hubris

Goodness that’s a lotta games! You’ll have to take off Fleet though; that one’s in my collection (although it’s never really gone over well and it’s hell trying to explain how the processing vessel license works).
I hear that. I’ve contemplated adding Railways of the World to my collection, which would overlap with this standalone Railways of Nippon. I’ll have to see how the new solo mode pans out for me with Nippon
I sorted my BGG collection by number of ratings, making the broad assumption that fewer ratings would mean less likely to be in peoples’ collections. Could also just mean newer or other confounding factors, but it was a place to start. Using that method and knocking out anything I feel certain I’ve seen mentioned…
