I don’t know what you’re moaning about 299 is a HUUUUUGE SAVING on the RRP of 308
Okay. I backed this. Im putting my trust on Cole Werhle that this is, at least, an innovative and interesting game.
I just want those milestone boards/tiles. Other than that, I’m not fussed.
Nice improvement. Not a fan of printed wooden components - meaningless visual clutter. Other than that I do like how the minis are at least monocoloured (so keep the visual functionality), but the size of that box is crazy! As a niche game that can be difficult to get to the table, I really like how compact OG FCM is.
Only thing I really want is a better milestone marking system and a medium size box that can fit the base and expansion in a single box.
Available at Chasicards for under £60 for the base game, I’m very tempted
If ypu do, Im sure you’re crafty enough to pnp your own milestone boards and accordion (which are essential for usability imo)
It’s unlikely to get played unless I’m with someone who owns it all already.
The Village Big Box for just over £50 though
I think you’ve just cost me over £100
edit- Not quite, Farmers of the Moor wasn’t in stock. Still, Food Chain Magnate and Deal with the Devil for £83 there.
Damn chaos cards for making me buy stuff. At least I can pick it up in store.
Deal with the Devil is an excellent game. The negotiation part is so well executed.
4 player only is probably why it hasn’t got more attention
How is the insert? Do you like it?
No. I did not.
Don’t know how many people play Bez’s games here, but there’s another one:
Not usually one for print and plays, but this sounds fun and only really makes sense as a print and play
edit- why is the linnk not embedding?

I pasted in that url and it said the server responded 403, which may have to do with the forum software sending accurate client string information, or perhaps observing robots.txt rules…
Yeah, when you paste in a link here the tekeli.li forum server (in Germany) asks the link’s server about it; the reply it gets determines whether you see a onebox or plain text, and e.g. Kickstarter isn’t consistent about that. (This is also sometimes why you’ll see preview text in German.)
This would likely wind up as little more than a pretty adornment for my bookshelf, but I’m awfully tempted by this thing Kickstarter just threw at me…
The Woods at Blight’s Hollow - Folk Horror & Fairy Tales RPG
Well, that’s another RPG for the shelf.
And I have a few friends who’d definitely be interested.
Oh man, now I gotta figure out how to play HF4 so I can figure out if I need to glue a stock market on to it (because I certainly like economic elements in my games)
Wait, nevermind. Module 5’s BGG page says 2-6, so maybe it doesn’t even work solo? (but now I see that Module 4 supported solo… and I passed on that because I hadn’t yet played HF4)
Deluxe edition minus now available for FooD Chain Magnate - Food Chain Magnate: Special Edition by Lucky Duck Games - NEW Deluxe Pledge Available Now! - Gamefound
Gotta hand it to them for responding to feedback
They actually did. Even the missing numbers are now clearly visible on the minis. Must have been a lot of feedback and probably not all of it nice and respectful…
