After the first game I managed to cobble together a few different colour pens, but will need to get something better. I can see me spending ages playing solo rounds of this.
I donāt think this is worth a separate thread, but since I know people were asking: Iāve heard from Jamie at Holy Grail Games that their best-guess availability for the Rallyman GT reprint (including the expansions) is now November of this year. (Subject to the usual vagaries of production, shipping, customs, etc.)
Arrived today: Bad Maps from the Fanboy3 weekend stock clearance sale. Will I play it when I have Colt Express and Robo Rally and Volt? Not as much as Iād like to, but itās enjoyably chaotic.
Thatās been selling out in minutes every time my OLGS gets a copy in. Iām in no immediate rush to own it, but if I see a copy in the wild Iām very unlikely to resist a purchase. Iāve heard excellent things that put it on my radar pretty soon after release, I would definitely be interested in your thoughts after a game!
Will, it helps thereās an official solo mode to try.
Itās on a slow boat from Chicago(!) to the UK
The set is here!!!
Not sure whether I want to either (a) make a sleeve for the boxes to store them together or (b) transfer them to a different box so they can be sleeved.
You should buy the Deluxe version so you can put them all together there
And buy that HUGE box?! No! I stand my ground.
The subtitles of the expansions make me think of a trashy pulp fantasy series.
If you make a sleeve for the boxes, make sure you make it look like a limited-edition collection you would find at a bookstore.
I think having the expansions in separate boxes makes it all more portable. You donāt need any of them for your first 53 games anyway.
I have been weak and I am treating myself with Root + The Riverfolk expansion for fatherās day (a week on Sunday here in NZ). Second game this month, I have to be careful so I donāt fall in the āBuy, buy buy!ā stage

I bought the next WFRP Enemy Within books aaaaages ago and still not turned up. I wish Iād bought them direct from Cubicle 7 now as Iād at least have the pdf to read. Maybe I ought to cancel my order and reorder?
(I know this doesnāt strictly fit the thread but I wanted to vent!)
WFRP 1st edition is on the Bundle of Holding at the momentā¦
I already have pdfs of all WFRP 1st
Hope you get them. The Enemy Within campaign was fantastic for me, although been a long time since running it.
I ran the 1st edition campaign as a teenager but we werenāt very sophisticated players nor was I a very experienced GM! We fizzled out on Something Rotten in Kislev which is where most people fell apart apparently!
I just received a packageā¦
Bought used on eBay Kleinanzeigen from a guy in Berlin. Except for a few marks on the box this looks complete and just as beige as I expected. Iāve been wanting a Knizia tile layer for a while and this was the one that I am thinking I can get my partner to agree to play due to the theme (donāt tell me is just a veil of theme). Itās thoroughly out of print though but there were several copies on offer for cheap enough (this one was 22⬠plus postage)
Just arrived: Project L, a sort of multiplayer puzzly Tetris. Technically less than a year late! (Itās got multilayer boards and their prototypes delaminated a lot.)
And Iāve just won an eBay auction for the Quacks of Quedlinburg resin bits from BGG ā which I enjoy so much I donāt want to play the game without them. Now I just want a copy of the game.
I have a German copy you can have!
Recently picked up Fort and Forgotten Waters as they both seem like something my partner and her daughter might really enjoy due to theme/presentation and the potential for cutthroatness in one and roleplaying in the other.
I also purchased the Root clockwork and underground expansions. Clockwork will hopefully let me get some play in solo when I have a random hour or so not taken up by school. But what Iām very excited about is not getting to play Pax Pamir 2nd Edition since my pledge has just been processed and Iāll hopefully get it some time next month.
I probably wonāt have time to play any of these until December, but theyāll be a whole lot of fun to look at.
Thanks, but: Please note ā the following amounts match the North Star US edition of the game, NOT Schmidt Spiele
