Part 1 or Part 2?

Bought a couple of cheaper games, Run Run Run (tile laying) and A Carnivore did it!, which is deduction game (which we usually like).

And now I’ve bought a more expensive game, Animal Rescue Team.

Thanks to the opinion thread, just bought Nusfjord Big Box for way cheaper than the average.

We were at Aire Con over the last few days.

Picked up Innovation Ultimate new and La Granja: Deluxe and Nyctophobia from the Bring and Buy.

The last one can be played by blind people so we’re interested in it for the practice. Herefordshire Board Gamers were at the Con with a load of interesting accessible games

I utterly failed in my aim of buying no games at Airecon

  • Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor as a birthday present for my mum (my parents play boardgames and used to live in Dartmoor National Park). This is the most defensible of my purchases

  • The new Americas Wingspansion. I do not need even more birds for Wingspan and yet, here we are.

  • Trailblazers travel edition. Been looking for this for a while but it’s been out of stock.

  • Things in Rings. Almost backed on Kickstarter a while ago but didn’t because of shipping cost and import duty.

  • Forest Shuffle + solo expansion. I could just play this on BGA, but for some reason I feel compelled to have a physical copy :woman_shrugging:

Oh, my husband also bought Pax Hispanica in the bring and buy, allegedly because he knows I like Pax Pamir. I’m not looking forward to trying to decipher one of Phil Eklund’s questionable historical essays/rulebooks.

The only thing I bought at Airecon (by proxy, as I was playing it, thanks @Lordof1) was the new Under Starry Skies expansion to Faraway. I was dubious about it, but having played it, feel very positive.

Such a fun game  I recommend the travel edition over the standard one. I never need more than is inside the travel thingy (I backed the KS and of course I have everything, oh well maybe one day base game will get boring)

Suprisingly good. Because his solo designs are rather shit (Pax Emancipation, Bios: Genesis). With High Frontier being the only good one. I’d put Renaissance, Pamir, Transhumanity higher (in that order)

Don’t remind me of my attempts to parse the game from rulebook and materials

Bought Concordia: Venus, 2nd time but the Monday group I regulalry attends really needs short rulesets to be able to have fun.

Bought Light Speed Arena. I probably shouldn’t surf BGG when I can’t sleep. Sounds pretty cool tho, you play cards, then take a picture with your device and it does all the scoring for you. At least, I think that’s how it works.

It was a decent game without the app. Hopefully the app is good enough to make it a decent game with.

Didn’t realise it used to be an app-less version

More than one, even :)

(The little one lives inside the medium one. I can probably put it all inside the big one, but I’d have to ditch the insert to do that, and they might just be better off separate.)
