After looking for them forever, I finally found both Expansions packs for Nusfjord with the 4 expansion decks that were included in the Bigbox. And I even found them in German to match my game. Yay. And cheap! So exciting.
(I kind of had to add some more stuff to the order obviously, so I also ordered the Wyrmspan expansion and the 2nd part of the Lotr Trick Taking game)
Iām at ⦠1? Kanban and Gallerist arenāt that hard to table. Lisboa is. Iām eyeing speakeasy and on mars but so far Iāve remained sensible on this point.
Now you just need the boardbento insert (from Washington State, US, so simple to get) and youāll have the nicest Nusfjord around.
My Nusfjord actually has one of my first (and probably best) self-built inserts. So I am quite happy. I just have to put the decks in the ādeck boxā and I can play. Well as soon as I have time for that anyway.
Finished my collection of Ashes Reborn. I know I canāt really justify it, but the more I play the game the more I enjoy it. I suspect I should sell off my Netrunner stuff and concentrate on this even though I usually prefer an SF theme.
I havenāt seen this stated explicitly: each of these packs (for which you already need the bigger box Red Rains: The Corpse of Viros) contains a Chimera and its associated cards (which can to some extent be mixed between sets); four Phoenixborn (same card powers and art, just a new quote) with new Uniques; and a variety of new general cards. (Some of the cards are errata-ed versions of old ones; I think thatās Brennan and Rimea among the Phoenixborn.).
The left box is from Sentinels of the Multiverse: Disparation since all the content from that fits into the original two boxes. Cards there are the various Chimera across the top (and their special dice and tokens on the left), Phoenixburn and uniques down the left side, and in the lower right box the Adventuring Party 1 precon decks Iām not currently playing.
In the original Ashes box on the right: all the other dice and tokens, and all the non-unique cards that arenāt part of an Adventuring Party 1 deck. (Auxiliary cards, which can have different names, are filed under their master card: for example, Summon Ghostly Mount can variously bring in Pale Steed Mount, Spectral Charger Mount, or Nightmare Mount, so theyāre all clumped together because they get used together.)
Finally the remaining cards are in a ātournamentā box, in this case the Jericho Reborn one, with the Adventuring Party 1 deck and summonables for Brennan, the dice, and some tokens.
I still need to get FoMC and EoA. And actually get around to playing some of them! Not to mention how long itās been since I actually played Ashes as a 2-player game ā¦
Oopsie. Probably somewhat for collectorās purposes.
Haggis prompted this as it appeared on multiple 2 player listings recently.
Mythical Dice might be just the thing my partner enjoys? (Would have been available here for the same price but this pushed the order into "no shipping territory)
I totally blame Schadenfreude on @lalunaverde also how can I not own a game with such a good German title that is not even from Germany.
Tezuma Trick is an experiment and it looks pretty.
Yokai Septet is one I missed when it was last available.
The same shop also had more games I chose not to buy:
Nokosu Dice. I still have not played my homebrew version made up of a copy of Parade and some dice.
Trick Takers. The others all have a chance to see play even if it is low. After reading comments and reviews I think this would purely have been bought āto ownā
This is a new shop specializing in card games and especially imported ones. The imported ones are not cheap. I consider this a treat for making good and positive progress at work.
