Thank you so much
The best thing about buying out-of-print or hard-to-find games is that, most of the time, youāll discover that you donāt actually like it, and it just piqued your interest because you were told that you couldnāt have it; a.k.a. forbidden fruit effect
I feel seen
In related news, I swear this is how this happens:
Now I feel seen!

Earthborne Rangers second edition arrived last night.
My mother-in-law texted a picture this morning of a bunch of games at a yard sale and I asked her to grab Taverns of Tiefenthal from the pile. Hopefully itās complete and in ok condition.
I forgot to mention it here, because it was in a bit of a haze on the last day of Expo: Kabuto Sumo Sakura Slam. plus Swarm and the Dr Bibble and Bluegrass Bill promos. Itās been a busy few weeks and itās about to be more, so these probably wonāt get played until Stabcon.
got the delivery of moon colony bloodbath and as I was in the shop noticed they had Nusfjord big box so I got that. Iāve been exploring Rosenberg a bit recently because I want to play Agricola (and see if the SE is something I want to get into) but my feelings are I needed to try something a little less intense before I can commit to the big boy.
Mind you donāt end up on an endless search for that perfect big Uwe game youāre sure must exist!
I thought Agricola was the perfect big Uwe for me, got most of the expansions and everything, then realised I didnāt actually like it all that much and so sold it on. Then Feast for Odin seemed the perfect big Uwe for me, until I realised I didnāt actually like it all that much and so sold it on.
I suspect Iāve had the perfect big Uwes for me all along in Nusfjord (well, big-ish) and Fields of Arle. Although I seem to have picked up Hallertau and Ora et Labora along the way as well, and like those very much on first acquaintance.
But be careful. Uwe is a deep and wide pool to start swimming in, and you may never reach the other side!
