Where is it available in Japan?
I got them from here, まねきねこれくしょん レビュー評価など2件(MANEKINECOLLECTION)|ボードゲーム情報
But it looks out of stock now
These are clearly owls.
Got Kingdomino Duel at a consignment sale. They did have The Fox Experiment, but I decided to wait a day for it to go half price, and it was gone by that point.
Due to the strange regeneration of WH Smith’s Patchwork for £11.
Raiders of Scythia, was a good price
Went shopping came back with games:
- Bomb Busters
- Palm Lab (sold Palm Island, thought 2 iterations down the line I can give it a try again)
- Lord of the Rings Trick Taking Game (it says 1-4 on the box, couldn’t resist)
- Flip 7–since The Gang is such a local hit as “reverse poker”, I decided why not give casual Black Jack a try…
Bought promo cards for Dominion: Church and Prince
Also found a copy of Mage Knight + Lost Legion + Krang
Soviet Dawn, the solo game of the struggle to form up the Soviet Union and win the Civil War post 1917.
I recently acquired all 3 SdJ nominees… 2 if them before they were nominated and Krakel Orakel Just arrived today alongside Wine Cellar which is already giving some tragic empty box vibes.
the latter was in my wishlist since i saw the crowdfunding campaign but wasn’t interested in the bundle of smallish games just this one. Box could be half the size. mimimi.
I already tested a few words for Krakel Orakel and it’s definitely not trivial. I’m expecting this to work with the same people who play Just One all night.
I’ve already made a post about our first few scenarios of Bomb Busters last week. Flip7 has yet to be played.
Kennerspiel nominees are not speaking to me this year. Except shortlisted The Gang of course.
My partner, who works at Bridge Command space experience, bought me FlickFleet the space fleet dexterity flicking game.
Flick ships to move them, flick dice off the top of the ships to shoot other ships. Hadn’t heard of this one but it looks fun:
what does this version add?
I think that it’s up to the players to say what the cards are.
Because it’s not chaotic enough
I’m not sure where to post this. I have an annoying habit every so often of desperately needing an out of print game.
Right now I’m hankering after
Container (printing my own thanks to @RogerBW is a strong possibility)
Santiago
The Bridges of Shangri La (that’s @lalunaverde’s fault!)
And if I can’t get Container, Tokyo Tsujiki Market
It’s incredibly frustrating, and I think it’s because when I’m a bit down I feel like I really need to buy a game.
eBay is either empty or comically expensive. BGG has the odd person wanting to trade, but I’ve not got anything I want to get rid of - and cheeky emails asking if someone is prepared to sell aren’t working at the moment.
I’ve done this before and generally been ok because things have been reprinted, but these games are old.
I’ve forgotten the mantra that I don’t need to own every game that I think might be good!
*Btw this isn’t a desperate bid to get people to offer me stuff from their collections.
I’d rather go throught the pain of pnping Container than Tokyo Tsukiji Market. Im less generous about TTM than @EnterTheWyvern
You have of course played Xenon Profiteer?
Amazon DE @Captbnut
Nice, thank you
Any idea how language dependent it is? That version is Polish (can get English rules from BGG)
Language indie. Just print the rules.
