Taluva is a nice choice. Mini Cuzco as my group calls it

Because I am still enjoying it in PBF format, I found the Esmeralda and Blue Sun expansions for Firefly at a LGS and picked them up. More ā€˜Verse to explore and another ship to do it in. Now I just need to find Breakin’ Atmo, Kalidasa, and Pirates & Bounty Hunters and I should have most of the materials used in the PBF.

Hooray! My late B-Day gift has arrived! :+1:t3:

The expansion has mini people riding anthropomorphic cat giants?!?!

Bought Cocorito for just above £4 from Amazon.

If nothing else of would be a source of card holders for the kids and some feathers for the crafts drawer. Turns out to be an extremely OK set collection drafting game for younger kids.

I guess it does…I just noticed that too. It also has Ra wielding a compound bow, so I’m thinking this thing is gonna be lit!

And I’ve just noticed the cats have human breasts! THANK GOD!

It also has Pseudo Gray Fox (from Metal Gear), Disco Sarlacc, and Not Quite Ethereals from XCOM.

More like Horus holding a recurved bow, that is.

Started reading the rulebook for Pax Renaissance. It starts off by saying nothing makes sense until you get to the glossary at the end. And oh boy howdy, are they right :grimacing:

Hmm. No sun disk on his head……it checks out. :+1:t3:

Little Town is so underrated in my opinion, if you can find the coins for it, do it… it’s a great my first worker placement for the family

Finally cracked and bought the Quacks of Qued Big Box.

Big Quack has a rather impractical box size. But at least you dont have to bother looking for all the promos and expansions

Someone was selling a bundle of 3 games for a tenner on a local Facebook group, and it seemed rude not to

  • Fields of Green
  • Progress
  • Tribes

The last one is going straight in the next maths trade, since we already have a copy!

Fields of Green by itself is worth at least Ā£10. It’s not my favorite engine-builder, but it’s quite good with a very calm aesthetic.

In continuing observance of Kickstarter Fulfillment Season, another package has landed atop my front porch!

This one contains (<gasp>), an 18xx game! or four

Yes, my 1822 pledge has arrived from All-Aboard Games!

Joining along with it are 18Ireland, 18MS and 18West. I actually thought I had cancelled my order for 18MS as, after reading more about it, I felt it didn’t really have enough going on to make it worth having. So, it’ll probably eventually end up on its way out. I’m very excited for 18Ireland; it looks very brutal, but still in a way that rewards good operational tactics. 18West is singular in my collection, as it is the only 18xx game I have that geographically represents my home (and not as an off-board location).

I don’t know if I’ll ever actually play the full-fledged 1822, but I am very excited to check out the regional scenarios that are included in the box.

Oof that… yeah, I… I may have underestimated how big that box is
