@GeeBizzle how did the drunkenness work? Were you just giving me random information? Are there rules for how poison interacts with drunkenness?
Are you saying the story about Calico getting delivered was a lie?
Nope not at all. I just tried telling you that the Empath had to be lying and I told the Empath that you had to be evil. I mean the natural evasions of the truly bad⦠Calico was delivered right when I said it was, that was probably the only thing that wasnāt a lie
Itās left at the discretion of the storyteller. I decided to make it obvious that you were drunk when the townsfolk lost the empath.
I also started giving you true information at a point incase anyone would listen.
I really didnāt bank on @najim playing the virgin the way they did and thought the empath sitting between and next to the demon was going to give the townspeople the edge.
Good game all and well played @yashima ! I must admit i had not a clue what was going on, but i enjoyed being a plaintive ghost
I had a really helpful minion although now that I know the fortune teller was drunk⦠⦠in any case nobody seemed to think @pillbox might be team evil until the very last and I admit on this last day that was quite helpfulā¦
I could not work out who was drunk because I knew pillbox had poisoned @Captbnut on round 1⦠the empath was not it that I knew. The virgin was not either.
Who did you poison in the second night @pillbox ? I never askedā¦
Thanks everyone. Enjoyed my part. Particular thanks to @najim for reminding me of their role.
Mental note for future games donāt try and GM while bored in a work zoom meeting.
Thank you for being our GM. I had a lot of fun as the Imp (ask my partner). I do understand now why Roger was just reading along and not participating. Discovering I was sitting next to the Empath was a bit nerve wracking. My special thanks then to @COMaestro and @Najim for solving that particular problem so quickly.
I poisoned RossM on the second night, I think. And then Captbnut chose the same targets again, so I poisoned him then following night. This lead me to what I believed his red herring was (Najim, if I recall?), But if I had been paying attention I could have determined him to be drunk with the info I had
It is a bit funny you poisoning the monk who was protecting you from meā¦
For the record, I was trying to look shifty the last two days, figuring me getting killed was better than people suspecting yashima. But itās really hard to pull off the āa little shifty, bit not obviously tryingā especially in PBF format
Suddenly putting on a goatee does not seem to cut it on a pbf.
Thank you @GeeBizzle for storytelling and congratulations to the evil team.

Should have trusted the whisper map!!
Well played team evil, that was a lot of fun to spectate!
For what itās worth, as someone looking in from the outside I probably would have voted to execute RossM on that last day as well. I thought they were likely good right up until the extremely suspicious looking self nomination, at which point I strongly suspected they were evil and trying to protect themselves by forcing an early vote.
I really must never do that again. It did not help!
Oh how differently this game may have gone if I had accused anyone but the Virgin that first day!
Well played @yashima and @pillbox. I think I was onto you near the end, as much as anyone can be certain of anything in this crazy game, but a tie would have ended the game with the same result, so on the off chance I was wrong about @RossM, I abstained in voting for @pillbox.
Thanks for running the game, @GeeBizzle! It was fun and maddening as always.
I have reflected on the game a bit:
- Iāve been anxious for three weeks straight, worrying about giving up the game and letting our new glorious Imp Overlord down
- In this game, you either know āa lotā, but have a lot at stake (aka team evil), or you know almost nothing, have just as much at stake, but have way less pressure on you alone (Villager)
- If thereās another game, Iām torn between playing again and waiting a day or two the enter as a traveler
