Anyone for a Whitehall Mystery?

I think Blue needs to go there so we can get some idea of where he went. That is a good move for Yellow too, as it will rule out any S movement by Jack.

Blue will move to 51-53

Red could hit 68-69. What do you think?

Good shout, I’d missed because I didn’t realise they could get there.

Yellow to 85-87

Red to 68-69 please

Searches please.

Yellow 87, 86 and 85 please

Shall we wait to see before deciding on Red?

Ooh

Now is that where he’s heading, or where he’s been?

Yeah. However, Blue will do 51, 53, and I guess 52 again.

Edit: latest posts made since I started mine.

I have to assume the 87 move was after 55, which was the theory that prompted the arrest attempt at 70. If I am counting right, that means he could be at 68 or 69.

Search or arrest? If arrest, which one? I’d guess 69 if I have to choose.

Go with your gut.

It’s large enough!

Arrest 69 please

Jack is not at location 69.

@Pillbox to move.

Rats. I don’t think I can handle much more. We’re not even halfway through yet

Jack has moved normally.

Investigator moves.

I am beginning to think that Jack may be headed away from the NW…

Maybe Yellow should check out 83-85-103?

We need to make a decision. Do we believe Jack has circled around the South edge of the NW quadrant and has moved back up, or has he abandoned there and moved S?

Depending on that answer, we can plan Blue and Red’s moves, either one way or the other, or split them to try to cover both bases.

I think Yellow should go to that spot.

I reckon two (yellow plus another) move South whilst the other goes North. The reason is that if he has gone South and we’re all North he’s going to be very hard to chase. If he’s North and murders there then he has to come South afterwards.

Red could come all the way down to 117-118.

If we split, Blur could check 13-32-33?

Of course the problem with what I’ve suggested is that it’s essentially giving up until he murders again.

The alternative is to push North with Red and Blue; yellow checks the spot you’ve suggested and in subsequent turns drops South and towards the river (again). Keep the same moves for Blue and Yellow, but Red goes 49-51.

Okay, let’s definitely do that for Yellow. Bold play for Red. I don’t think we will find anything there, but if Yellow turns up something, that will put Red in a much better position to respond.

Blue, I think, will move to 50-68-69. Jack has to be within 4 moves of 87. If he has moved back N, say backtracking his moves, he will likely be past these circles, but if he just cut along the bottom before moving N, he should be somewhere around here.

Yellow to 83-85-103 please

Sorry, North (49-51) or South (117-118) for Red? Both are a bit of a punt

with Red to move.

@COMaestro 82-99 is more of a compromise move, and a good spot to react to searches
