Is that 86, rather than 85?

Interesting. Unless he fled South to 87 from 55, I think the only other available space is 53. All other connecting circles have been searched. I do not see why he would go to 55 from 36, when he could just go to 53 directly and continue on from yhere, unless it was just a hope to throw us off (and, boy, has that worked if that’s the case).

If we assume that he instead did move to 87, but that he still needs to make his NW drop, he would likely go W, and be at 82 or 70. Probably 82,since Red was moving that way and it would put him out of range, but I am tempted to have Red arrest 70 on the off chance he is there.

Looking closer, I see now that from 55 he could also have headed N to 35, which we have not searched, or even backtracked to 36. So he really could be anywhere around here.

What do you think we should do for Red?

I think the two 80+ locations are unlikely, so I think arrest 70

Okay, let’s go for it. Red arrest 70

Damn. He’s slipped us again

It’s like I’m really in Victorian London.

To be fair, it was an unlikely space for him to be.

What are your thoughts? In my head I’ve been drawing a line from clue to clue, but I think you think he’s been a bit more zig zaggy. I suspect he’s North of us. If he’s gone South of 55 we must be missing him by a tiny margin.

I don’t think he’s heading across the river now. If he was going there he’d have to spend a double move and a water move.

Yeah, I don’t think he would run off and go for a different quadrant without finishing the NW one first. I don’t know if he has the time for that.

I was going with a simple line originally, but the fact that we have looked at the majority of connections from space 55 without finding his trail makes me doubt that we can do that. We have searched all the connecting spaces except for 35, 53, and 87.

If he went to 53, why not just go directly to it from 36 as the second part of his coach move?

87 seems too far away from the quadrant to be likely, when he could get to the same southernmost spaces in the NW in less time by a different route.

So that takes me to 35 (or backtrack to 36). From there, he could have gone to 15 and yet another space from there, and is about to move again.

And really, we can’t confirm any of this without checking 53 and 87 or if he drops off a body part this turn.

Jack has made a normal move.

Investigators move, please.

I think Yellow should move 85-87, or Red could drop into that gap while yellow goes slightly East to 74-75. I’m a bit confused with Red, going up to 51 might be a good shout, but only 1 search.

Blue could hit 51-53 if you fancy it. Neither of the others can get to that spot.
