Very nice (for a Splotter game).

I’m somewhat sad, because I have no business owning this game because I don’t have anyone to play it with.

So here’s hoping the next edition is also great!

Yeah, I preferred the old box, and the old map. But there are enough good updates to make it worthwhile.

I will also likely find it impossible to table. But it is a game I’ve played and enjoyed online, and I wanted to support Splotter.

Mini Ark Nova. (I’m not a great fan of the whole huge-deck game thing, but I know lots of people are.)

Seems like it looks better under normal lighting:

Looks very cute though.

Wow, how’d you get this? Last I heard was May in Europe and at least July rest of world.

What I would like to see, and it’s in keeping with Memoir 44 at least: you fight twice, swapping sides. The Empire almost always wins, but what matters is who wins better.

I figure there will just be objectives for a Rebel win in the various scenarios. Keep the shield generators intact for x rounds. Prevent the Empire from reaching point A for x rounds. Etc.

I presume it will be like some of the scenarios in Memoir 44 - the Empire have to get to certain points to get the victory point and the Rebels need to get their points from annihilating the Empire forces but they start in a much stronger position.
