Legacy version of Flash Point on the way

I think it’s already out… ah, no, it’s just preorder.

I am pretty sure that a buddy I know owns it, though. Maybe a convention grab…

I backed Leviathan Wilds because it was going to be a “there will be no retail version” game.

I need to learn patience. German edition by Frosted Games will be out in time for SPIEL…

(I am also regretting preordering English version of Compile, I assume the Pegasus German translation will be out before I have my copy)

Flash Point: Legacy of Flame Goddamit! I would have backed this had I spotted it on Kickstarter!

Vital Lacerda has some weird hot wire to themes that intrigue me. I do not need another one of his games then…

The themes are all interesting … I saw this one, too. But one Lacerda game is all I need.

Hmmmm Garphil Games releasing something that isn’t Shem Philips and also an old school game from the late noughts: Assyria: Second Edition | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

Well it is partly Shem. Shem & Sam have sprinkled their stardust on the old design.

Garphill have also done Hadrian’s Wall, which isn’t Shem at all. As well as The Anarchy, which at first glance looks very like Hadrian’s Wall to me…

Having had more than a cursory glance at The Anarchy, it still looks very like Hadrian’s Wall, but with some extra stuff and a solo campaign! And omg it looks like you build a castle out of dice! I’m going to be very tempted by this game, and indeed their other new (Shem) game, Skara Brae.

Thoughts? No. This is NOT Magical Athlete Hot Streak | CMYK

That looks awesome! And maybe easier to get to the table and funnier than Ready Set Bet.

Looks fun wonder when a UK release is due.

I am sold! :fire::fire:

I think Hot Streak is the game I wanted both Camel Up (my favourite for now) and Ready, Set, Bet (didn’t enjoy) to be.

Wish they had an actual rulebook online rather than Quinns being effusive whilst teaching the rules. EDIT: It’s on BGG.

Friend sent me a link for a Japanese cat game where you position cats so that they can all be in the same room while grumpily pretending the other cats don’t exist. Rules include the cats musn’t make eye contact. Every piece is handcarved.
