Guess 3 I was trying something on the top right corner. I quickly realized with what I knew there were far too many options left for it so abandoned it for the moment to solve the others. Worked out because I’d eliminated enough letters by the time I made it back there at the end, there was now only one option left (at least that I saw).

I went to the original site and it now redirects you to the New York Times site. So unless you have a local saved, everyone will be on the NYT version from tomorrow.

Line 2: Follows hunch, and types in yesterday’s NYT word.
Sigh. The NYT just removed the original word 241, rather than replacing it.
I wonder if I can be bothered taking the time to edit my local list to match in a way which won’t spoil upcoming words for me. Not too hard to do I guess.

Having 4 of the 5 letters and missing is a just a real kick to the genitals. Especially when it turns out I actually had 5 of the 5 letters.

You might be OK. It turns out that the NYT actually has made changes to the word list, removing such shockingly offensive words as pussy. Because of that the original game and the NYT version are out of sync, so it depends if the bot is using the original list.

I’m in a position now where I’m doing NYT Wordle on my phone in the morning, then my saved version when I get onto my computer in the evening. Them being out of step is … awkward.

Slightly annoyed that it took me so long, after a promising start. And one of my guesses, while valid, was extremely unlikely to be the word (I really didn’t know what it meant).

I did have this one spoiled for me but I got all 5 of the letters after my standard opening three guesses so I don’t feel too bad.

A fortunate second guess, but it still took me a while to come up with the first and last letters!
