I take it all back – Wordle is happy to target some obscure words after all! I’m not sure I’d even be familiar with this one, were it not for Cheapass Games (although I also now realise that it’s the base for a much more common word).

Interesting. My partner does Wordle but is using the New York Times site, whereas I’m doing it from the original page (saved locally). The NYT has deviated from the original word 241. Possibly because it was the first obscure (to my mind) word that I’ve ever seen Wordle select.
The two words were agora (original) and aroma (NYT).
I wonder whether they’ll be back in alignment for 242.

That was tricky. The three yellows weren’t all bad, but it took a while to make a valid word from the remaining letters.
