Yeah that looks fun and hard to obtain
This morning I’ve snagged one of the round tables in King’s (and there’s actually decent phone signal here).
It was great to meet you yesterday, Roger. I hope you enjoy your mostly free day at the Expo today!
Good to see everyone I did see, and apologies if I was a bit on the busy or frazzled side.
38 plays of Ensemble later, I don’t hate it. Yay. May even buy a copy some time.
Also played:
Tinderblox and Tinderblox Sunset, near instant purchase. A Rhino Hero killer maybe?
Turing Machine, yesssss, I see what’s going on here. In order to generate a third-party puzzle generator I’m going to have to reverse-engineer it. Ooh, this is going to be fun.
Piepmatz, managed to teach it in a noisy room and then get beaten by both the first-time players. Sigh!
In Vino Morte, it is what it is but it isn’t offensive.
Senators, always a favourite for me.
Books of Time, a very intense thinky experience (i’'m not much of a Euro player but I enjoy them in the right mood and company). Definitely worth a look. |The click of the ring binder mechanisms has the deadly significance of the pop in Sheriff of Nottingham.
Kitchen Rush, hmm, very tough but I both like it a lot more now and have no intention of owning it - because I would hate to get stuck playing the intro scenario again and again with different groups, and that’s what usually happens with games like this for me.
How many Wallace Shawn impressions were made? Any answer less than “all of them” is saddening
Well that was an exhausting weekend! Completely sold out of everything - Pink reps came and bought out all my remaining Forks stock on the Sunday, which gave me a lovely time to playtest a game which was pitched to me. Haul to be posted later.
Maybe he got the salted version.
I have got the Marco Pierre White edition.
Well that box is unnecessarily big! I have the Oxo edition which is only a few cm in each dimension – exactly the right size for all the little cube components.
I read despite the shiny texture though the components have some durability issues.
