Okay, I’m going to use the random dice roll feature here (I have 4 Action Cards remaining), and then use the order that they were dealt to my by @Delwayne to determine which card @COMaestro randomly gets, just to keep things moving along.

With that unwarranted act of aggression dealt with, let’s move on to the heroic acts of the Titans.

I will activate the Alpha Wormhole Asteroid Field by Hope’s End, and move my cruiser from the Rigel System over there, just parking on that space.

Oooh, a quick aside: when I “liberated” the Winnu world of Lodor, they had a PDS already on that planet (I’m sorry, I missed it). As a result, @MIGHTYSploosh actually had the option to open fire on my ships before the combat with the Ghosts.

Despite my obviously peaceful attempt to help the Winnu people, this is still an option they can pursue without ramifications (loss of Support for the Throne, for example, although that’s not the case here). And, theoretically, it could’ve resulted in me losing a Cruiser.

Therefore, if the Winnu do want to take that shot, I say we roll the single attack: if it hits, we can reroll both my and the Ghosts attacks against each other before they retreat. Since I may have to take a total of 3 hits (one from the Ghost’s tech, one from the PDS, and one from the Destroyer), that would cost me a Cruiser.

If the Winnu don’t want to take the shot (and really, why would they? Peaceful envoy of peace, and all that), or if they miss, I think the combat as rolled can stand as is.

Okay, so that’s a hit on the PDS, and a second hit from the Ghost’s tech.

So we reroll both my and the Ghost’s attacks. I don’t know if the loss of a Destroyer would’ve changed the Ghosts plans back then, so let’s say that whatever happened, happened, but if I hit here we blow up the Destroyer now, not retroactively.

Titan cruisers hitting on 6+ pool 2d10: 3, 4
Ghost destroyer hitting on 9+ d10: 3

And nothing changes, although now both of my Cruisers have used “Sustain Damage” (which I think lasts until the end of the entire turn, in case somebody attacks there before we end the turn).
