Triplanetary… play by forum

That’s what I’ve been assuming and other players have been doing.

@EyeZee to play.

Both z1 and z2 coast

r1 comes to a stop.

d1/d2 mine.

@Lordof1 to play.

Mining. Whistling. Whittling. Lemon balancing - a new hobby I have invented while mining.

I didn’t expect to wait all 27 turns, but it seemed a place to start while I thought about it. I will have fresh orders after 8 turns mining (8.8 tonnes of ore).

Noted.

t1 drops a mine.

@EyeZee to play.

z1 & z2 coast and prospect.

z1 prospecting:

@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 3, 2

z2 prospecting:

@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 1, 4

You’d think that having multiple ships would find ore faster…

r1 deploys a mine and starts mining.

d1 continues to mine.

@Lordof1 to play.

Sad trombone. waaa waaaa
-1 for 6

More mining for me. Doing this for me next 3 turns

OK, noted. @MrTim? (You currently have 1 turn of mining output, 1.1 tons.)

I think it’s time for a second ship. The Terra One will continue mining for now, and we’ll spend the rest of our initial capital on the Transport Terra Two.

T2 will follow the same course its sister ship did, and t1 will continue mining until t2 gets to the ore vein.

Actually, scratch that. T2’s flight plan will be:

Launch A
Thrust A
Drift
Drift
Thrust E
Drift
Drift
Thrust D
Thrust B

Speed isn’t as much of a factor now; I can afford to conserve a bit of fuel. (He says as everyone else builds packets to come over and wallop him . . .)

So that’s keeping the A-wards velocity from Luna launch?

Yes. And I guess the ship would be t3, since the mine is t2.

Got it, thanks.
