No effect. Over to you.
Overdrive B twice then shooting at Pr.
Or | In | Pr | Ro | |
Re | 23/1 = -24 | 3/1 = -4 | 2/2 = -4 | 24/1 = -25 |
At -4 you won’t achieve anything by firing except to open yourself up to a counterattack. Do you want to do a different manoeuvre?
No, that’s fine, it was a potshot really.
Ro drifts.
Pr drops a torpedo B+A-wards and thrusts B to come to a stop.
In thrusts D.
Re | |
Or | 23/1 = -24 |
In | 2/2 = -4 |
Pr | 2/2 = -4 |
Ro | 23/1 = -24 |
Pr fires on Re at 4:1, -4.

D2. In fires at 2:1, -4:

Curses, foiled again! Maybe we should ask the first citizen if we can rejoin…
No further damage.
Turn 70, Re drifts.
Ro thrusts F to stop.
In thrusts B to stop.
Pr thrusts B.
Ro transfers 8 fuel to Or.
Re | |
Or | 22/1 = -23 |
In | 2/2 = -4 |
Pr | 0/0 = -0 |
Ro | 22/1 = -23 |
In fires on Or, 2:1 at -4.

Pr fires on Or, reducing strength to 1:1, no penalty.

Turn 71.
Re drifts, gaining an F from Earth’s gravity.
Ro thrusts F.
Pr thrusts B.
In thrusts A.
Re | |
Or | 21/1 = -22 |
In | 4/0 = -4 |
Pr | 1/0 = -1 |
Ro | 21/1 = -22 |
Pr accepts the risk of destroying the target and fires at full strength, 4:1 -1.

A further D3.
I’m not sure what the fair thing is to do about a disabled ship entering weak-gravity hexes.
Player’s choice? (But what about torpedoes?)
Automatically accept the first one?
Automatically reject the first one?
ETA: random 50/50?
Thoughts?
I think I’d interpret it that if the body can’t resist at all, it’s affected by the gravity, although resisting/ignoring doesn’t use fuel so I suppose it’s open to interpretation…
OK, for this game I’ll make it “an uncontrolled object automatically accepts the first weak gravity hex of the turn”.
In thrusts A.
Pr thrusts A.
Ro thrusts F.
Re | |
Or | 19/2 = -21 |
In | 5/0 = -5 |
Pr | 2/1 = -3 |
Ro | 22/1 = -23 |
Ro is currently D2. Pr reduces power to 3:1 and shoots at -3.
