Okay, realized I’ve not posted any work here for a while. I blame catching shingles for the New year so, here’s something I’ve recently finished. Old RAFM Heavy Gear conversions for my own setting.
Engineering units don’t get enough love. (“Sergeant, that hill offends me. Make it go away.”)
Alborc the boss-man. Very happy with the face and bone. Less happy with the sword, but it’ll do
.
Obviously just spotted that I forgot his fingernails.
What s great sculpt!
Small indie company called Infamous JT. He’s got a range of oldhammer inspired Dwarves that are absolutely lovely and characterful sculpts.
A couple more northern tribes completed. (I hope!)
Evoker
Wisemane
I’m using blood on the base to signify which troop in a unit is the leader for measurement purposes.
Got myself a war rig and decided to go full effort on the nmm. So far about half done on one arm and already taken ages! Really pleased with the progress though and feel like nmm is finally starting to click at least a little!
Thats looks pretty darned good to me!
Part 1 of 4 done. And one of those parts is this massive multi-pilot nonsense!
Really happy with the metal though. I’ll stop spamming you all with progress now and get my head down to painting the monstrosity!
That is so good! I live the way you got all the reflections in the gold. The straight lines down the eagle are particularly smart
Various life events mean I’ve packed away all my minis, paints tools and so on for at least a couple of years. For my last project I went with an ultramarine’s sergeant. I ran out of time so the base and sand were rushed and I got bad photos. Still, a nice way to say good bye…
I love the ultramarine, and I love the commitment in matching your window frames to your faction ![]()

The NMM on the sword is awesome!
Really sorry to hear you’ve had to pack your stuff away. I enjoy looking at your painting!
Thanks, that means a lot. While there is some sadness about missing painting the life events are all very positive and I think I will pick the brushes up again.
I know I said I’d stop with the WIPs of this massive boy, but I mean…. Come on! So proud of this one thus far. Much to do, but really feel like I went out of my comfort zone in a (literally) massive way and it’s going so much better than I’d hoped.
That looks certifiably badass!
That is stunning!
