Why are there two?
Indeed, although if they end up doing a 1 for 1 deal with the Vulcans because their Research Trade Agreement is unavailable they might be able to offer me something juicier.
Was it actually Borg Salvage that was drawn?
No, just Transwarp Conduit Data, sorry - I’ll shuffle the other back in.
I’m assuming that because the Borg tech doesn’t require any research I can just have it, without needing to discard my existing “under development” advancement?
Command 5: fleet mining at Argo (+2p).
End of turn once trade agreements are sorted. I’d accept the Klingon 2p for my 2p. If it’s still a 1p for 1p offer then I’ll think about it some more.
That’s an interesting question. Is there a moment during which you have two research projects? I’m inclined to be lenient.
I’ll leave things for a little before resolving end of round. Ping @Marx for trade.
Looking more closely at section 14.4.1, I don’t think the 0 cost Borg tech counts against the limit at any stage because they “are placed directly in the player’s Advancement Area” and completely bypass the Project Area. So I think it’s all okay.
It is a completed project.
No limit with completed projects.
OK, I’m assuming further trade agreements didn’t happen. Some flexibility for last-minute “but I wanted to” since this is a PBF.
- Victory check: 5 Ascendancy (not Vulcans), 3 Homeworlds (not Vulcans), Vulcan Agenda
- Nodes produce:
- Romulan (Assussanni) 1P 1R 1C
- Federation (Canadian_Errant) 1P 1R 1C
- Vulcan (Delwayne) 1P 1R 1C
- Cardassian (MIGHTYSploosh) 1P 1R 1C
- Klingon (Marx) 1P 1R 1C
- Ferengi (RossM) 1P 1R 1C
- Trade Agreements produce:
- Federation (Canadian_Errant) 4P
- Vulcan (Delwayne) 2P
- Cardassian (MIGHTYSploosh) 1R
- Klingon (Marx) 3P
- Ferengi (RossM) 2P
- Resources from Advancements
- Maintenance
- Exhausted cards/tokens are reset (also added extra Ferengi command for Starbase)
- Ships at warp get another Warp token
- Empty Phenomena get Research tokens
Contacted powers may bid for turn order – in order that’s @MIGHTYSploosh, @RossM, @Delwayne. (I think you all know this already, but: up to as many as you have, of any single type of resource.)
I have a ferengi ship over a federation planet. We each get one additional production
Also, does the R mean there’s a research node on the planet I hegemonized (and therefore I should get an extra research?)
@RossM: I credited the extra Federation production for holding your TA, but not your Starting Advancement. +1P for you.
@Canadian_Errant: Yes, and yes. +1R for you.
I try to be reasonably systematic about this but I do err: everyone, please check each turn…
Or they are offline and have not responded. We await to hear from Klingon?
A free culture token per turn is pretty good.
Do I have two Production then?- one from Earth and one from the friendly Ferengi? I also accepted the Klingon’s Trade deal, as well, but I’m not sure how that impacts things yet
Sorry, misread how it was represented. Skipped by the whole “trade deals create” part
Also, perhaps Federation player did not know, when you colonized that planet, you could have made nodes as well? was there a reason you did not? Perhaps you did not know you could? (Valakis)
I will offer the Vulcan a 1-for-1 Production trade, and the Romulans a 2-for-2, if that’s okay.
Also, to clarify… are we doing “5.3.2. Some Borg” ? and if so, did you remove the Borg cards marked with that red symbol? (Exploration, Command, and Systems) was that drawn tech card one of those?
(are we also doing any delayed appearance?)
(Sorry, Fridays are a hell day at work, and most days are pretty bad, so that’s saying something)
Vulcans accept the 1p for 1p from the Klingons.
Citation needed?Node construction is only in the build phase.
Yes to both. “Some Borg”, and I moved the two transwarp conduit system discs so that they aren’t in the first 30 discs to be drawn.
+1P Klingon, +1P Vulcan.
