No, I’m an idiot. Originally I wrote “Spend 6 Production to build 6 ships” but then realized that I want to build a Culture Node for 1 Production and forgot to change the number of ships built.

It will just be 5 new ships plus 1 from Cardassia to form the fleet. Sorry! Sorry. I get excited and I can’t brain very well.

Okay, so no rerolls but I got 2 hits and therefore successfully invade (only 1 node remaining).

That gains me 1 Culture and restores rightful control to Cardassia. Definitely worth the loss of… probably 15,000 Cardassian soldiers and sailors, right? Right.

Take the casualty to the single ship outside of the fleet. Also gains me an exhausted Command for next turn (if I manage to hold it).

I’m going second, anyway.

For clarity: the inflicter of the damage decides where the damage goes. But if RossM chose to say “kill a ship in the fleet”, you could still sweep another one in afterwards. This would make a difference if you had only three ships in the fleet, because then it would disband before the other one could join it.
