Several weeks ago I posted that I won a session for my dog at a pet photography studio. The whole experience was as ridiculous as expected and the pictures (and one fancy portrait we got) are finally in.

Is your guy just a giant or are you small? He looks huge there!
He is bigger than me but I don’t think as much as it looks here. I’m a bit smaller than average for my basic demographic and he’s a bit bigger so there’s some size disparity. The positions of him kneeling and me sitting exaggerate that I think. It wouldn’t surprise me if the camera is also adding to the illusion here somehow.
So a little of A, little of B, little of something else too all adding together?
After spending an awfully long time looking at my amateur edits* and their disproportionate scales, may I say that you both look so very normal sized to me in the actual photo! : )
* Ye olde “make it bigger until it completely obscures the thing you aren’t clever enough to paint out” approach.
