The rest of the night passes uneventfully, and you are able to hit the bunks in the Watch House and get what rest you can. How soundly you sleep depends on how disturbed you are at the thought of finding a monster like a troll in the middle of an urban centre like Ubersriek.
You report for duty with Sergeant Rudi as per normal. He’s a little late in joining you, but he wears an annoying smirk. “Sounds like you were busy last night. Told you the Dunkelfeucht weren’t a place to go sticking your nose into. All kinds of trouble down there. More so now – bunch of beardless Dwarves crawling all over the place looking for more trolls now.”
But that’s the extent of his comments on last night, and you exploits last night are largely unmentioned around the Watch House. On the streets, you catch the gossip about monsters under the bridge, but the tales are hugely exaggerated, They varying from a huge beast running amok and slaying a whole bunch of people before returning to the river, to a band of Dwarf slayers or Altdorf soldiers hunting down a troll.
The rest of your patrolling for the week goes very quietly.

It has been a while since we last did levelling up, so please jump onto the other thread with questions etc.
We’ve also got some house-keeping on character health for Else and Meinrad, which I’ll cover below))
Else has a Festering Wound that has the symptoms of Fever, Malaise and Wounded, which are providing the negative effects. The Festering Wound is a Lingering Condition, and although the duration of the infection has passed, Else needs to pass an Endurance test for it to disappear. Otherwise, it will hang around for another d10 days.
She can seek out medicine to help. Depending on how she goes about that will impact on the likelihood of the medicine being effective. Successfully finding effective medicine will negate the need to make the Endurance test, proving Else can pass a Heal test to determine when to take it… Again, there are ways to modify this if she seeks appropriate aid.

Meinrad picked up a single wound, which I believe was the only injury sustained by the party. He should make an average (+20) Endurance roll to recover his Toughness bonus + SL wounds.))
If the Watch doesn’t have an appropriate healer/surgeon, then I will seek help from the Temple of Shallya, if that’s appropriate

(You’d definitely get better results from going to the Temple, but the associated cost would likely be higher.)
((Could someone please also roll to see how much coin you’ve managed to earn by beating the streets. It will be 3d10 Brass coins, less 1d10 coins taken by Rudi as your share of the ‘fines’ you’ve taken during your rounds of the docks.
If anyone wants to actually embrace this idea of levying ‘fines’ on the citizenry, please let me know))

(I have a few thing I want to try and do. Feel free to interrupt at any moment. Let’s say this is how Meinrad is planning everything would go in his head, inside his bed before actually getting up).
One night, Meinrad massages his slowly recovering arm before heading, like every other evening, toward Amris’ bunk. (@Gungeon
" I’m sorry Amris, I think I’ll have to skip tonight’s lesson. I can’t deal with this… suffocating atmosphere of Uberseik. I’ll take a night walk, I’ll be back before morning. I’ll try to be on time for the patrol, but if I’m not, try not to worry!"
I’d like then to ask the weapon’s master if I could have a staff to help me walk and fight with a bit more room. After my fight against the troll, I realize I’m not too keen to be so much “in your face”.
And then, if everything goes to plan, I want to go outside the city. Not too much, but just to get a bit of nature around me. If I can find myself alone, maybe try to cast a few of my spell, see if I can still do them. I’d especially want to gather a few of what I remember we used on the sheep at home when they fell on a trip to help them heal. Maybe those would work on Else or me? It is worth a try.

(You get 1 day to yourself for every 6 days working, so it seems reasonable that Meinrad can take some time to himself. There’s an underlying threat that if he doesn’t return to his duty then he’ll be in a whole world of trouble, but no one is going to bar his exit from the city)

Else will sleep until late in the morning. When she wakes, she’ll take care of her weapons, especially her beloved pistols before seeking out the Temples of Sigmar and Shallya
Should I roll for something? My (ideal) goal would be to find some herbs (so I get “Selection of Herbs” for my witch career)

(Hmmm… it’s a bit chicken and egg… how does Meinrad know what to collect without having any skills in Lore or Trade (Herbalsim)? Ahh… give me an Outdoor Survival roll please)
