Ooooh jealous!
Itâs a good job I donât because I donât have a clue whatâs going on, let alone whoâs winning (apart from itâs not me!)
Somehow I have a feeling that TI: IV is one of those games where who is ahead does not really matter until the very end
Nobody is winning until somebody wins?
I mean, itâs certainly true that itâs dangerous to jump to an early lead. It can make you a target, especially if players work together to topple the first place player.
That stated, you generally want to stay pretty close to the pack. Try to score at least 1 point every turn, and keep an eye out for ways you can score multiple points in later turns (the ideal is to score a bunch of points right near the end of a round, taking you over the finish line at the point nobody else can stop you). Falling too far behind means you wonât be in the striking distance of victory when you need it.
Itâs a delicate balance. One I am not very good at.
Next few days Iâll be really busy with the convention.
