Oath PBF - My Kingdom for a Horse

Yes, you can. You now have 1 supply and 1 favor left, iirc.

I will rest.

  • I start my turn staring daggers at the Spellbreaker (I think I must have a looking glass, I can still see them sit there in the Hinterlands. I wonder if I were a citizen, would the Spell Breaker affect me now that the Chancellor controls the Lush coast…)
  • I trade with the Elders and the Armed Mob. Spending 2 secrets and 2 supply.
  • Then I travel for 2 supply to the Salt Flats.
  • I search the Cradle discard for 2 supply.

(Just because my supply is empty for now doesn’t mean I am done)

Are you willing to join the glorious Empire?

Thanks but no
I am just a poor exile coming to rob the Cradle of the empires of its riches before returning to the Steppes that are my true home :stuck_out_tongue:

To continue. I reveal the Story Teller as my new adviser.

  • I spend 1 favor at the Wayside Inn to gain 2 supply.
  • For 1 supply I muster at Extra Provisions
  • Keeping 1 supply for next turn 1 rest

I wake and put a favour on people’s favour

Spend a supply and I will spend a secret with spirit snare and take a 2 favour from nomad.

I will spend another supply to muster with spell breaker

I will spend 2 supply and campaign for the sceptre. Our chancellor has become weak I will try to relieve him of some of their burden by holding their sceptre for them.

On review, it looks like I should have flipped the people’s favor to the mob side the last time you put favor on it. So you now have to do the wake thing twice, meaning you will have to take a favor off, if you put one on, to Arcane or Order (or you can take two off, one to each suit).

I can’t follow the second line. Using Spirit Snare does not cost supply and gets you 1 favor. Do you mean trade with Key to the city for 2 discord favor?

The campaign looks like 11 Warbands, no modifiers, vs. the Lush Coast and the sceptre for 6 defence dice + 3 Warbands.

Sorry I amalgamated two things. I’ll use a secret with spirit snare and trade with key to the city.

I’ll put one favour on and take one off to arcane.

A scrappy but ineffective defence without any x2 rolls: 7+3=10 defence
Attack: 11 attack, 3 dead.

GeeBizzle takes the sceptre
The warband at the Lush Coast is killed

GeeBizzle must choose whether or not to restore Empire control to the Lush Coast, or leave it to the bandit king. 2 supply left.

Oh, no! Betrayed! After all my efforts to restore the Empire to its former glory…

I will maintain the empires control in the lush coast with 2 warbands.

After all this isn’t a betrayal. Just a friendly borrow of the sceptre till the chancellor regains their strength.

I’ll rest as I see nothing further I can achieve.

@captbnut is up, and has strengthened his claim, flipping oathkeeper to usurper.

I can see how you were worried sick of the Usurper taking that sceptre away. Tell that to the families of the warbands that died on the process… I will redirect all the mail to you :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m going to start by searching the world deck

I’ll make my next move when I see if I get anything useful

Sorry for the late reply. Just to confirm, you know you will draw only the vision card on top of the deck, correct?

No I didn’t.

I can never remember which pile I’d search, but can I search in the appropriate stack please?
