OK, so that’s 5 defence dice, 3 warbands, and the obsidian cage vs 10 attack dice (9 warbands)? Fire talkers cannot be used.
If you win, you get the darkest secret with 1 secret on it, and oathkeeper. If you lose, all remaining warbands get caged.

(I ask for confirmation because technically there are decisions to be made, like the attacker can use less than all attack dice if afraid of skulls, and also to ensure that you and I both understand the campaign correctly)
That obsidian cage is lethal. Although remember captain you could if unsuccessful foster a deal with yashima to send those troops back to you?
The consequences of failure are catastrophic, but I don’t think I have any other realistic path to winning apart from war.
