Well, well… I suggest you bring your army over here. I think they’d like to meet my own bunch of restless souls. You can join them… I’ll even order a round of drinks for everyone.
Shift finished.
Ok so let’s use 1 supply and 1 favour to muster from the scryer. Never have enough troops.
Let’s use 2 supply to campaign against the chancellors grasp of the people’s favour.
While I’m at it let’s use 1 favour for the rangers to support the troops.
I’ll pause at that to see the result, @Benkyo. I think it’s 15 vs 10/11 depending on if the chancellor feeds extra provisions to the army.
Here come the version 2 of the “Wars for Popularity”
Surely you missed the “it’s just a popularity contest” joke.
And I will fight you for it! Huzzah! (
)
Defence pool: 9 (6 from banner, then Extra Provisions, the site as compulsory target, and Oathkeeper)
Attack pool: 14 (13 warbands, +2 for Rangers, -1 for Mountain)
Defence roll: 64(!) + 3 = 67 (x2, x2, x2, 2, 2, 2, 1, 1, 0)
Attack roll: 14 (3 skulls ignored)
Everything that could go wrong with this campaign, does. The campaign fails, Yellow loses 6 warbands.
@GeeBizzle to pick up the pieces.
(Roaring) Huzzzaaaaah!
Churlish Harumph!
I remember they said this game makes stories. We are getting gutural.
I’ll play my last secret with spirit snare for a favour from arcane.
I’ll then campaign again with 2 supply and what army remains to take the chancellors sceptre (6vs6 +3). Which most likely will fail but I’ve never found a problem I can’t solve by throwing wave after wave of my own men at it.
Gonna give the rangers a little extra juice too coating me that new favour.
Once that fails I’ll rest.
@Chewy77 I do need you to say whether or not you spend a favor for an extra defence die (I forgot to ask previously, assumed you did, and forgot to reduce your favor - you currently have 2 favor)
Ehmmm, right, yes, I can spare one favour. Let’s squash them.
Defence pool: 8
Attack pool: 8
Defence roll: 6+3=9
Attack roll: 8 (2 skulls ignored)
Yellow seizes the site and the sceptre by sacrificing 2 warbands.
The Chancellor loses 1 warband.
@GeeBizzle how many warbands will you place on the Mountain? You have 5 left.
This is a stand-in image under the assumption that Yellow puts 2 warbands on the Mountain (it makes little difference how many warbands are on a site where your pawn is present, you can move them to and from your board for free).
@Chewy77 you now get to roll a die to see if the Empire wins, in which case Yashima succeeds you.
The moment of truth…
@discobot roll [d6]
Hi! To find out what I can do, say @discobot display help
.
Ooops, how was it?
@Chewy77 asked for a die roll:
Here it goes d6: 4
yes, roll goes between the brackets
OK, so the game goes on. First things first: to appease the mob, you have a choice between putting one Favor on and taking one Favor off (to Arcane), or taking two Favor off (to Arcane).
