Excellent! I think I have 17: buy 3 Juno and 1 Probe leaving 12, and do the same thing again.
Success! Removed for free.
OK, I have ¤12, and one intact probe plus one damaged.
Could I have a list of current assets on the ground?
And the master plan gets put off by one more year…
Buy 1 Soyuz (8), 4 Juno (4). End turn.
@yashima to go
I am here. I know it’s my turn. I haven’t been able to think straight with all the holiday stress and the coffee testing…
I need to be testing both Landing and my Juno tech
- undock 1 probe from my satellite mess in LEO and try to land it on Earth, buy off whatever.
- launch 1 Juno from Earth to sub-orbital and buy off whatever.
That should leave me with 2 results cards on each tech.
Next move depends on how much money I’ve got left.
Both Successes!
That leaves me with 5 megabucks… or rather meh bucks… I’ll probably be buying some Junos or an Atlas… if anyone else wants to take their turn now feel free while Im pondering my shopping. If someone needs a credit of 5 shout. Over and out for now (no more launches for me but I will use the money before the year ends)
@pillbox is up!
NASA – 1967
Purchase:
- Saturn Rocket ($15)
- Soyuz Rocket ($8)
- 2x Juno Rocket ($2)
That concludes 1967 for NASA
France
Sell my rare moon metals to a private group researching red Mercury. +$25
Fire all my ions on my craft at inner planets to arrive at mercury flyby in two years.
Hmm. How to spend 50m bucks?
Ok.
Buy 2 Saturns,
1 Soyez
1 Ion thruster
2 Junos.
Fire the soyez into orbit with an ion thruster attached, fire Ion into lunar orbit (1 Time token)
Anyone else have any moves for this year?
No, I’m all done without a mission-accomplishment bonus.
I need to do some money spending.
I had 5 megabucks left last I stopped thinking about it.
I’ll hire another astronaut I think. How about a doctor?
One never knows when some medical skills are needed.
Ok. If you are happy to move on, like this post.

I apologise for the delay; I hope this is going to be quite a complicated turn.
I can’t see why I didn’t do this last turn, so I’m probably missing something.
-
Buy Vostok ¤2, 3 Supplies ¤3, leaving ¤20.
-
Package Vostok (with Gagarin aboard), Aldrin, Atlas, 3 Supplies as a mass-12 payload, designated Vepr.
-
Assemble four Saturn (4 @ 20), two Soyuz (2 @ 9), 2 Atlas (2 @ 4), Juno (1 @ 1), probe (1 @ 1), Vepr (1 @ 12). Vehicle mass 120.
-
Burn 2 Saturn (2 * 200 = 400 thrust vs 120 * 3 = 360 difficulty) to get it to Sub-Orbital. VM 80.
-
Burn 2 Saturn (2 * 200 = 400 thrust vs 80 * 5 = 400 difficulty) to get it to Earth Orbit. VM 40.
-
Rendezvous to separate Vepr, leaving it in Earth Orbit. Main VM 28.
-
Burn Juno + Soyuz (4 + 80 = 84 thrust vs 28 * 3 = 84 difficulty) to get it to Lunar Orbit. VM 18.
-
Rendezvous to separate Soyuz. (Main VM 9.)
-
Burn Atlas (27 thrust vs 9 * 2 = 18 difficulty) to get main vehicle to the Moon. VM 5.
-
Use Probe to gather 9 Lunar Samples. VM 14.
-
Rendezvous to separate and abandon Probe. VM 13.
-
Burn Atlas (27 thrust vs 13 * 2 = 26 difficulty) to Lunar Orbit. VM 9.
-
Rendezvous to rejoin Soyuz. VM 18.
-
Burn Soyuz (80 thrust vs 18 * 3 = 54 difficulty) to Earth Orbit. VM 9.
-
Return 9 Lunar Samples to Earth for big money next turn.
Let’s confirm that before I start building on it.
(My initial query is can a probe gather more than one sample a turn, but otherwise I think it’s fine.)
