OK, SAC has one Saturn in stock along with the Atlas and Juno.

Test Surveying vs Solar Radiation. Success, free removal.. I learn a thing about that, which in the interests of international amity and siblinghood I will share with the world: level 1, astronauts sick on d8 ≤ , probes not affected.
With my final ¤5, I’ll recruit a Scientist astronaut.
Okay, let’s try this: buy two Soyuz, a Juno and a probe. Stick ‘em together and launch the spaceship ‘Apotheosis’ into Earth orbit (using both Soyuz). Juno fires to take the probe into lunar fly by and scoop up the mission win.
If this doesn’t fulfil the mission requirements I’ll have a rethink but I thought I didn’t need to get the probe back, just there? As I read it, I don’t need ‘surveying’ for this but I’m a little worried I might be wrong.
Ps no need to check Soyuz, my guys have assured me absolutely it will work fine.
Right now. So it’ll be available in round 2 of 1959.
“When a mission is completed by a national agency, all other national agencies collect $10. When a mission is completed by a joint venture, no one collects any money.”
Thanks for letting me „verzögern“
Migraine is gone now.
As far as I am aware my inventory is
40 spacebucks
1 Saturn
1 Probe
3 Junos (unclear if that is the number or not)
So I will assemble a nice new Spacecraft named „Headsplitter“
Stage 1 is the Saturn which will give me 5 Payload to Earth Orbit
The payload will be 3 Junos (I‘ll just buy the ones I don‘t have) + 1 Probe + 1 Ion Thruster
Which means I quickly research Ion Thruster tech (whatever could go wrong with such deadlines?) and then construct–uh buy—1 Ion Thruster.
Moments later, Headsplitter departs for Earth Orbit.
As Headsplitter has been reduced to its payload, I feel up to Full Rendezvous testing because that really seems like a necessary precursor to everything else. I‘ll buy off any failure and see what money I have left then.
You had a probe, but it was lost in that Saturn major failure.
Continuing rendezvous testing.
Draw 2 is a success. Draw 3 is a success.
So you have Rendezvous with two cards on it. (Which means if you give it to anyone else they’ll have two random cards on it.) You can buy off one of them if you like. Currently you have 13 money.
Ah, I just saw a probe in the screenshot. I thought I had bought another probe last turn. I need to track my moves better.
So this means I can now assemble and reassemble freely. Nice
I’ll drop the damaged Juno back to Earth since it faces neither Reentry nor Landing hazards that should be fine.
In earth orbit I have the craft that I now rename to “Headless”:
2 Juno
1 Probe
1 Ion Thruster
I’ll separate the damaged Juno and drop it to Earth, since Earth has atmosphere and only capsules draw Reentry, this should not pose a problem.
I’ll leave “Headless” in Earth Orbit for now.
For the rest of my money I’ll buy
1 Ion Thruster
3 more Junos
(I really thought I would need more money to test Rendezvous. Ah well.)
