Oh I really hope it fades soon, hugs and good thoughts.
Sure, no problem!
@RossM next for CNES.
Let’s do Full rendezvous testing with the Juno Clump
FRT begins: First draw is a Major Failure; one of the Junos in the cluster is damaged, ¤5 to remove, ¤25 left.
Let’s do it again.
#2 is a Success.
#3 is a Minor Failure. ¤5 to remove that.
You now have one card on Rendezvous which you know is a Success. It’ll be removed next time you do an actual Rendezvous (which could be right now). ¤20 cash remaining.
The bundle of Junos has two damaged, two working, and one is floating separately.
Ok. Let’s rejoin them all into a clump.
Buy 4 Juno’s.
Test fire one on earth and remove outcome regardless of what it is.
4 Junos bought, ¤16 left.
Fire Juno, Success, removed, ¤6 left.
Fire off three more Juno’s only buying off failures.
#2 is a Major Failure, removed, ¤1 left.
#3 is a Minor Failure, remains on the advancement.
No point firing #4.
Anything else this turn?
I’ll pass for now.
OK, on to @lalunaverde;
If I understand this right, I want to test rdz tech. So, I buy two Junos and merge them. I’ll pay only on a fail
You can only test rendezvous in Earth Orbit (or beyond), not on Earth. (Nor in sub-orbital; things happen too fast.)
Buy 2 Saturns. Launch one and see what’s the card. I’ll have no squids left to buy off the card if it’s a fail
Why not wait until next turn to test them?
Or buy just one and launch it with enough cash left to buy off a success.
That was silly! I already have another Saturn. Yes. Buy 1 and launch.
I see your [start-of-turn inventory])Leaving Earth #2 - #115 by RogerBW) as one Atlas and one Juno.
Buy 1 Saturn, ¤15 left.
Fire it. Final draw is a success, removed without charge.
You have ¤15 left.
My mistake. I wasnt thinking well. In that case, another Saturn pls
