Atlas + 2 Juno, firing Atlas to reach sub-orbital (d3). Atlas outcome is a major failure; vehicle is lost. Paying ¤5 to remove that.
Firing the Soyuz: success, paying ¤10 to remove.
No money and no hardware, so I’ll end the turn here.
@lalunaverde to play.

Poke @lalunaverde (but I’ll be out tomorrow).
I’m not sure why the moves. I’ll buy Saturn and Atlas . Atlas on top of Saturn and fire to EO. Pay off outcome. If leftover moneys, buy Junos .

Saturn draw is a minor failure - paid off for ¤5, and the damaged Saturn remains with you.
Bought 5 Junos.
OK, this is the end of 1957 round 1. Remaining money is 4 for ОКБ-1, 5 for ISAS, which isn’t enough to put a joint venture together.
I’ll spend my 4 on a pair of Probes.
@yashima do you want to buy anything with that 5? Anyone else, any other actions before end of year?
A note, by the way - if you just want to test a rocket, you don’t need to put a payload on it. You can fire it off on its own.

So… since I don’t have enough to form a joint venture on my own …I think I’ll just buy another probe and 3 more Junos please.

I am up, right?
I should have:
–
Buy another Saturn for 15
–
Same setup as last time. I should name my rockets. This one would then be “Hybris comes before the explosion #2 ”
Stage 1: 1 Saturn
Stage 2: 1 Juno
Stage 3: 1 Juno
Payload: 1 Probe
Then fire Stage 1 towards Earth Orbit
Buy off whatever happens and keep the rest of the money for now.
Saturn draw is a Minor Failure. Your inventory on Earth is now 4 Junos, a Probe, and a damaged Saturn, and you have 10 money left. Anything else during this turn?
Can I test a Juno? And buy off whatever.
If I have 5 Spacebucks left I’ll test a second juno and buy off failures.

(There is nothing more satisfying than a minor failure in a Saturn parked on Earth.)

Absolutely Couldn’t agree more. I will have a nicely repaired one next turn.

First Juno draw is a success, so ¤10 to remove it uses all your money. 3 Junos left in stock.
@Lordof1 to play.

I remember from last game that someone was selling payload to orbit… do we need joint ventures for that, too?
Just asking for someone whose Saturn’s only have a single result left on them.
