Same here. One of my fellow players in the Monday Night Game group owns it, so I am willing to give it a go, but I wouldn’t buy it just because of that.
I think with exactly 59 more games you can claim to be pretty rad.
In fact, the “Pillbox 1080” could be the hot* new board gaming console.
(*) Also “vast” and “pricey”.
Overly priced for half its commercial life until replaced by a slightly better graphics console*
Shouldn’t we be starting a new thread under dubious title “Size comparisons: Collections”
Maybe @pillbox could do it as his collection size is the one we all strive to live up to… I have interpreted all these comments on small numbers an attempt at hiding a desparation about inadequacy of everyone’s collection sizes.

I only have such a large collection so that you all can buy games while still feeling good about your restraint
We appreciate your martyrdom!
Taking one for the team. Good on you!
This reminded me of something.
You guys should get a storage locker so you can hide your giant collections out of sight. Works a treat.
Then you put in a table and a few chairs. Then you might as well have a fridge, and a bed, and next thing you know you’ve rented another flat on the instalment plan.
That’s my if I win 10s of millions plan. Sort out a place where invited people can play, addressing the main complaints of where we do play.
Oh no, I bought a copy of Rococo deluxe on eBay.
Really? ![]()
I think you’re just bluffing the role of “accidental ebay clicker” I think you are in truth… I don’t know what roles would there be if Blood on the Clocktower had a setting of a town filled with boardgame nerds?
Yeah relatively happy. But hilariously a second edition copy with upgraded bits turned up on a fb group within an hour at over half the price.
I can see myself backing John company when it goes live today too. Going to read Dan Thurots article on it then decide.
I’m growing to be a big Werhle fanboy, so will almost definitely get John Company unless there are big UK issues
Same. I face the difficult decision to either back the kickstarter or wait for the German localization by Spielworxx which is announced vaguely for “this summer” … German localization means I will not have to pay postage. Price will otherwise be similar and printing for Pax Pamir 2 was identical.
Watching this here a bit. “You can trade anything, even stuff you don’t have.”
Just wait for localisation! Seems silly not to
Depends on how much postage is. Spielworxx is always quite limited in numbers. And the more games Wehrle doesn’t botch… localization will maybe help getting it to the table or maybe not… the kind of gamers I would get to play this speak English.
