Hobby Japan pilled apparently (I bought Guessocracy on purpose, because it was £20 and sounded original), wanted Gibberers for ages, and Slot Machine game was also £20 (after I haggled). So was Nokosu Duice, Ghost Lift, and probably L’oaf. £20 for something original is my weakness.
Someone on UKGE Sunday bought me Tenby. I picked it up today and played it
I am now an unemployed bum (still in the process of buying a cattery). My former colleagues generously had a collection for me and I used some of it to buy some games:
I missed the KS for the Obsession Rules Compendium and immediately jumped when it showed up somewhere I regularly order. For an unknown reason a bunch of small stuff shipped with it including a big squishy gumgum fruit.
and you have the stupid banana game too ![]()
I blame … … wait for it… you ![]()
- There’s a “Bring Your Own Book” reprint?!
- BGG shows me that this is the “German second edition”
- Is it all in German except for the title?
For an unknown reason a bunch of small stuff shipped with it
Weird, that keeps happening to me as well.
Is Wine and Cheese a successor to Beer and Bread? I get the same vibes from the title font.
I’m not sure about that. Just when I told my partner about a game that was called Wine and Cheese he immediately said I should buy it. He likes certain themes so much it almost doesn’t matter what the game is![]()
Very satisfying box insides.
Board looks like it could be a Rosenberg farming game. It’s 2 player and the box is Patchwork sized. I think Beer and Bread is bigger.
Yes.
Found Abducktion with its expansion at Goodwill yesterday for $7. Looks sort of cute, so figure I’d take a chance on it. I feel like my older kid is getting closer to the point he might be able to try some simple games. I have no idea how simple this is, to be fair, but the little toy ducks can not be overlooked.
