If I extinguish to smoke, will it immediately return to fire?
I’m afraid so.
ETA: Hmm! Technically not, if COMaestro puts one of his points into taking the smoke down to nothing before the end of the fire phase!
Let’s do that then
Ack, I feel pressured!! ![]()
Move to 5,3
I will use 1 AP to extinguish the smoke at 5,2.
If you don’t use the other one, it will be lost.
Oh,missed that part. Go ahead and move to 4,3.
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
OK, that ends the event card resolution and the turn.
I assume @Lordof1 continues as planned, running to the fire engine ready for a crew change next time.
The Fire Rages

4,3 and then extinguish both adjacent fire
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
The Fire Rages

@Kat to play.
(I saw an online discussion in which the designer of FPLoF suggested that “move diagonally” should be interpreted generously: even if you were going between two blocked spaces, if you could plausibly squeeze through the middle, it’s allowed.)
I was wondering about what is permitted. Can I go to 4,4 in 1 AP?
It’d be a pretty useless ability if you couldn’t.

In that case:
- Move to 4,4 (1 AP)
- Extinguish fire in 4,3 (2 AP)
- Save 1 AP
@RogerBW asked for a die roll:
Yup, basically if there is any plausible route at all you can do it.
Flare Up
