Hmm, I have a somewhat sinister theory.

What if…hear me out…@Brattyjedi and @Whistle_Pig are the two evil players, a demon and a Devil’s Advocate? @Brattyjedi, the DA, nominates @Whistle_Pig, the demon, after selecting the previous night, so she cannot die by execution. @Brattyjedi claims the Tea Lady role for herself, @Whistle_Pig trusts she knows what she’s doing and goes along with the plan. No execution happens, “Yay, we’re all good over here!” without having to have @Whistle_Pig state a role, and now we’re all suckers for believing them. And now they’re whispering!

So I would like to nominate @Whistle_Pig again. However, first I would like to check that no one used an ability on @Brattyjedi that could have made her drunk. Because if so, an execution of @Whistle_Pig would prove nothing.

EDIT: Actually, thinking about it, if I’m right, the game will end if @Whistle_Pig is executed, so even if @Brattyjedi were drunk, we’d still know whether or not my theory is correct pretty quickly.

We could hang brattyjedi with the plan of me reviving them.

Assuming that the night phase let’s me do that before I can be targeted by the demon.

I think @Whistle_Pig is the better option here. If she doesn’t die, that makes @Brattyjedi’s claim almost certain to be true. If she dies, we may win the game outright. If the game doesn’t end, you can try to revive her, and if she doesn’t revive, she’s the Zombuul, and we can execute her again! If she does revive, then that may still mean @Brattyjedi is the DA, or just that the Pacifist power worked in the first execution attempt.

Before you all try and hang me again I would like to propose that I am, in fact, the exorcist.
I guessed (exorcised?) @yashima on the first night and @pillbox on the second night. The fact that nobody died during either night makes me very suspicious of them both, and probably about to die a horrible, demon-infested death.

I expected to be accused of being the demon if @Whistle_Pig had died when I nominated. I honestly didn’t expect it to happen if whistle pig lived!

Since it is now public knowledge: the role @Whistle_Pig just claimed (exorcist) and the people named is what was whispered to me. I replied that if that was true, a possibility would then be @pillbox as the demon. First night, the demon picked one of my two neighbors who were protected by me and then the second night the demon was blocked by the exorcist. It would be unlikely to be yashima as the demon would be unlikely to pick one of my neighbors on the second night after I had outed myself as the tea lady. This is assuming it is only the two of us who prevented deaths and there are of course many other options that could have happened, but it is one possible theory.

The flaw I would see with @COMaestro’s theory, trying to analyze it from an outside perspective, is that I claimed tea lady before there was any private whisper. As far as I know, the demon is shown roles not in play for possible bluffs, but the minion(s) is(are) not. If you are accusing me of being a minion, it would be a big risk for me to name a specific role without having got information from the demon about roles not in play. If I were a minion, I could have claimed a role someone else had in reality.

People who have not claimed a role are the most likely minion.

The demon might have claimed a role and be lying.

I remain confident that I am the tea lady, reasonably ok with the idea that both my two neighbors are good (there are of course other explanations for the lack of a death there), and highly suspicious of everyone else.

I agree, calling Tea Lady would be a risk as a minion, but with such a small number of players, two of whom had already claimed a role (Minstrel and Pacifist), it’s not a horrible one to make.

Again, it’s just a theory, and if it goes through and you are being truthful, then nothing SHOULD happen, unless you are now drunk. I would hope a Sailor would not pick you, though I suppose an Innkeeper might if they felt you were a target, which is why I initially asked for anyone to say if they did anything that could make you drunk.

(I am very sorry I haven’t even read the thread but it was my last day before vacation and my father’s birthday yesterday and I have slept until now. I have no idea yet what is going on just seen I have been pinged multiple times.)
