BOTC Bad Moon Rising

These all appear to be viable theories…

With modifications…

I’m not sure what would be gained for the demon by Option 4. Anyone see a benefit?

If it’s Option 1… I don’t what to do with that information other than try really hard today to figure out who the demon is without giving away info to the demon on what high value roles people have so they don’t become obvious targets. So everyone would need to play things close to the chest and not share much info. Unfortunately that’s kind of contradictory with what to do if it’s some of the other options!

Because…

If it might be Option 2 or 3 with the demon possibly poisoned/ drunk or the victim possibly protected, figuring out how the demon was poisoned/ drunk or the victim protected seems to me to be very helpful. Which would mean anyone who knows anyway someone might have been poisoned / drunk or protected would need to share their info.

So two completely contradictory possibilities and I have no clue which one is the better option. Yay!

I realize now after my last post, that since the Pukka poisons their target, the special abilities of the Fool and Sailor would be nullified, so the protection would have to come from the Tea Lady (meaning three adjacent players are all good) or the Innkeeper (chose the target, who then cannot die that night).

For other options, if the Innkeeper chose the Demon as one of their two people, the Demon could then be drunk. A Courtier could have used their ability and got lucky choosing the Demon, making the Demon drunk for 3 days. A Sailor could have chosen the Demon, and the Demon could be drunk.

To quote an oldie but a goodie, “I hate this game.”

Has anyone gained any information during the night as a result of their ability?

Nope, no information.

There are too many roles that either don’t die or make people drunk or both. Plus the added bonus that there are different demons. Does it matter though which demon? The only thing we can probably know for sure that the Minion is not the Godfather as there are no outsiders.

I am a very sound sleeping villager who does not wake up for anything. No nighttime information here.

No info here.

I think we do need to have a shot at killing someone today. Any suggestions?

Heh, we kill a townsfolk today, the demon kills 3 tonight, and the game ends!

We don’t kill someone today the demon kills 3 of us tonight and tomorrow we get one shot to kill the demon. Same outcome better odds if we are certain that’s the scenario.

Also if we have a professor it’s a good chance to test if we killed a townsfolk or a minion.

Nothing, no info. Sound asleep.

Doesn’t Evil automatically win if they outnumber the Good players?

Anyone want to claim Exorcist? That’s another possibility for the Demon not killing anyone.

No, I don’t think so because of ghost votes. Even if we had 3 evil players left, team evil would need a minion to die to declare the win.

Oh, that’s right, it is if there are just two players remaining.

Also certain death to admit openly, I would have thought.

Demon finds out the Exorcists identity anyway, if chosen by them, so if this is the reason no one died tonight, they are doomed anyway.

If that’s the reason, sure. But there are so many other reasons for someone not to have died.

Let’s try this, does anyone know of a reason I might be poisoned or drunk right now?

Edit: Just to clarify, not hypothetical “this role could have poisoned you.” I mean anyone willing to volunteer even without specifics that they have reason to believe I might be poisoned/ drunk right now?

Sailor or Innkeeper needed drinking buddies?
It is a bit early for the Courtier to have spent their ability.
There is a demon that poisons people before killing them.

edited after clarification above: no specifics sorry.
