So, we might have a Pukka that had targeted GeeBizzle, which would have made the Professor poisoned when targeting me.
I just want to point out something I said to @GeeBizzle almost two weeks ago now, since I was reviewing the thread.
@pillbox, since you are dead, mind letting us know what role you have/had?
Will also note that a Zombuul only kills if no one died during the day. So it is possible that our demon targeted people who were somehow protected for the first two nights, then did not act at all on the third night since @pillbox was executed. And since no one died on the fourth night, got to act again and finally managed to kill someone in @GeeBizzle.
I was the Grandmother (an awfully masculine one, at that).
Did you tell anyone which role you knew about?
Nope. This scenario is so crazy Iām still not sure if itās safe to say.
And any whispering I could do would just draw that much more attention
Okay, so we have claims of:
@BrattyJedi - Tea Lady
@Whistle_Pig - Exorcist
@COMaestro - Minstrel
@Yashima - Courtier
@GeeBizzle - Professor
@pillbox - Grandmother
@Chewy77 - Pacifist
Interesting to note that we have no roles that are immune to death on their own (Fool, Sailor), or that can make people Drunk each night (Sailor, Innkeeper), though we do have a long term poisoning possible in the Courtier, and the one night drunken debauchery of the Minstrel.
And we know (at least) two people are lying. @pillbox was last to claim a role, so could be lying as he would know roles he could safely claim at this point, but we do know he is definitely NOT the demon.
Mistaken thought
Actually, wait. I think I argued this the other day. If we DO have a Mastermind, and @pillbox WAS a Zombuul, then he really only truly died yesterday, and the Mastermind is keeping the game going for one more day. So if were to execute someone today, good loses.
But if this were the case, how did @GeeBizzle die? Okay, Iāve now convinced myself that @pillbox is definitely not the demon in any way, shape, or form. Could still have been a minion, though, which would have meant everyone was Drunk that night from my Minstrel ability.
I think the key is in the failed execution of @Whistle_Pig. If it was the Tea Lady ability that saved her, then with the death of @GeeBizzle, I think our evil players must be @pillbox and @yashima (since I am good). If if was the Pacifist ability, then I think @Brattyjedi was trying to get a quick kill in and throw suspicion on her neighbors, and her partner in crime could be anybody.
The only things I know for certain at this point are Iām the tea lady and Iām giving up on theorizing.
I exorcised @COMaestro this time, for what itās worth.
Thus, if you truly are the Exorcist, I cannot be the demon, at least, as your ability would go before the demon, so a Pukka could not have poisoned you, and we have no roles other than the Courtier that would make you drunk/poisoned.
Before I go to bed, let me complete your information by letting you know that (at this point) 3 nights ago, I used my ability. I mentioned this before somewhere (I thinkābut I may also be confused because sometimes I think about writing something and then I do not.). The target of my cocktail of super-drunkenness was none other than the Minstrel @COMaestro himself.
So for what itās worth, @COMaestro cannot be the demon, because even a poisoner puka could not have killed the Professor tonight. As I understand it drunkenness also blockās the demonās abilities be they poisoning or killing townsfolk directly.
So any nominations?
Iām wondering do we have any info supporting Chewy77ās claim. The pacifist seems like a great role to hide behind and why wouldnāt it be targeted?
Close proximity to the Tea Lady? Which means that either the demon believes the Tea Lady is real and both the Exorcist and the Pacifist are as well or they know sheās not and want to keep up the charade, telling us⦠nothing?
My question is why is the Tea Lady still alive? As far as I understand the role, she does not protect herself just her neighbors (if both are townsfolk in good standing).
I am afraid I cannot go and copy Ross initial message, is that what you mean by evidence? I think that would break the spirit of the game.
Other than that, if you all want to nominate me, go for it. There is a 50% chance that I will not die due to my role. I was thinking of nominating myself at the beginning of the game when I misread the role (missed the āgood playerā bit).
Pacifist is a āmaybeā role. Itās so random I wouldnāt see it as a priority.
I am very surprised Iām still alive. I expected to be the first death after I outed myself as the tea lady and the execution of my neighbor failed. Maybe that failed for some other reason and weāve been on a false lead all this time? Or maybe the demon didnāt kill me to throw suspicion on me as yashima just did?
Just catching up on this. @yashima youāre saying on night 1 (not night 0), you used your one shot power on @COMaestro? What was your reasoning for this? Itās a very big power and you surely had some good argument for using it and for picking your target at the moment you did. Iām very curious as to what the was.
Two characters with a one-shot drunkeness ability seemed like a bit too much. But it seems now that my hunch proved wrong as @Comaestro could not have killed the Professor last night.
My other thought was that this ability would be the most powerful if used early in the game. If I picked right and my chances of picking an evil character were 66% in my estimation at this point (you yourself made the case that you Whistlepig and Chewy were Townsfolk that day)⦠I thought I had been right when we had no killings at night.
@yashima is lying. The courtier role selects a character not a player. Yashima as a courtier could not have selected @COMaestro as is being claimed. As a courtier yashima would have had to select the minstrel without knowing for certain who the player was. Yashima is claiming to have selected @COMaestro on the hope that @COMaestro was lying about the role and was actually evil which means yashima is claiming to have picked a player not a character. Thatās not how the role @yashima is claiming works. The storyteller should have corrected that if the role was actually in play.
I nominate @yashima for execution.
Edit: I suppose I should allow for the possibility there was a rule screw up?
Yeah I would want a confirmation from our deceased storyteller on how the role works before voting.
Iām confident in how itās supposed to work. Just canāt guarantee there wasnāt a mishap. Compare the courtier, the exorcist, and the gambler tokens. Courtier says ācharacter,ā exorcist says āplayer,ā gambler has both āplayerā and ācharacter.ā Itās a big difference. The step-by-step guide the storyteller posted at the start says for the courtier that they pick who to target in an in person game by pointing at a character name on the character sheet not by pointing at a player.
