Well, I find myself agreeing with @Captbnut more than I agree with @RossM who has been trying to shape this discussion from the beginning.

So, Captnut can’t be executed with the votes of alive people. I don’t think (and I hope) dead people will note use their only vote on this.

Now here is the thing: If we believe that both dead villagers are good and since I am confirmed virgin, that means at least one evil player is ok with Captnut to live, probably even two.

@COMaestro and @RossM have been whispering frequently and early. I believe that a whisper between the 2 of them of was the first action in both days we’ve had so far. The momentum to brand me as evil has come from them. They’re wrong, either misguided (@RossM and I have done that before); or deliberately moving attention away from themselves.

If COMaestro is evil, he has to be a spy, otherwise he’d be still alive. if he is a spy, we have no poisoner, therefor Captnut must be the drunk, since he got different results for the same people. A spy is also unlikely, since the mayor was targeted.

If Captnut isn’t the drunk, he must have been poisoned once. In that case COMaestro IS townsfolk. not evil, not drunk, townsfolk.

Let’s assume, Captnut was poisoned the first night. Than COMaestros info must be true. If Captnut was poisoned the second night, it is possible that COMaestros info is false, since he might have been poisoned. In that case however Captnuts info in the first night was correct, Ross isn’t the demon.

Ok, my defence is that last time I was nominated for not sharing who I scanned and for too many whispers…

Let’s not forget how the empath claimed to sit at least between one evil neighbour…

In short, I will vote no, but I really hope Captnut will not nominate Ross. While I think it’s better to not execute someone today, I think if we do, Captnut would have been the better choice than Ross.

So let’s vote on this,

Firstly, no one wants to lynch captbnut. No one at all. That means no evil players want to lynch him.

Me and comaestro have not been whispering often. We whispered out roles to each other on day one. On day two I whispered to comaestro and he didn’t whisper back.

We know @Najim is good. We know at least one of @Whistle_Pig and @COMaestro are good. (If they were both evil the game would be over.)

This is beyond doubt for me. As is the fact @Captbnut is evil. What he whispered to me was not what he claimed publicly. It’s a lie. Being a drunk doesn’t do that to you.

I vote yes. Avoiding lynching doesn’t make the game easier, it just means there’s less villagers alive when we need to vote.
