Blood on the Clocktower 2: Bloodier on the Clocktower (game thread)

I would indeed!

I am nominating @Chewy77.

Me, Ross, WhistlePig, Lordof1, GeeBizzle, and KIR2 all have one story. That’s six (six!) people! The only person who has a different story is Chewy. Is he evil, or are all of us evil/impaired?

P. S. Also, he waited to reveal for no apparent reason, ostensibly hoping to claim Recluse, but not wanting to risk conflicting claims. Also, he’s been spamming messages to practically everyone, probably hoping to mask clandestine communications beneath a flood of “I’m good how are you?” notes.

And if nothing else, it’ll be good for the cause of science :face_with_monocle:

@Chewy77, defend yourself if you’re still awake…

And if you’re not still awake, we apologize for any unwanted pitchforks which may have been included in your stay…

I didnt wait to reveal, I was busy at work. WorkSafe audit has had us busy all day (Health and Safety at work can be a b***h, but we passed with flying colours). Other than that, I have whispered only to Ross and DJCT, Ross has not bothered answering, and the other person to inform about my role, and then to confirm that I was actually an outsider.
I can see how being a drunk could marr one of the accusations, but the others must be evil plots. Or Evil characters, afraid of the power of having my vote compromised by a character they do not know who it is, want to weaken the Good side.
I still haven’t had an answer about where the second ping comes from that sounds satisfactory. My only idea about why would that be, but defamatory claims sound evil sources to me. But I have only played this game this time.
If you want to have innocent blood on your hands, do vote Yes. That would definitely help us find the Evil side.
For all that matters, it is funny that only if my masters votes, I can. Pretty defenceless on my side. Do act in conscience.

I think you’re all evil, and who says just cos I’m officially the Recluse I can’t also be drunk and a virgin? These roles are very proscriptive. However, I am always happy to follow a mob if there’s gonna be a good spiking at the end of it.

*starts sharpening a pitchfork ready for @Chewy77 *

Feel free to start voting on the execution of Chewy77.

@djct whispers to @Chewy77 and then reads the rest of this thread to catch up. Oh dear me it has escalated quickly …

@Chewy77 whispers back at @DJCT keeping his composure.

A note from outside the game which I think has been mentioned above - remember to bear time difference in mind when considering whether someone has replied or not.

I woke up at least once (irl) to see things had moved a huge amount without me having an input.

Anyway, going now. Glad I’m watching!

As to the ‘they’re all in on it’ theory - I’d like to remind the members of the jury/ crazy villagefolk that I have only been whispered to by one co-consipator, and replied once - I suggest that would be have to a very detailed plan to come up with very quickly and rapidly agreed to by me. Which I think is unlikely. But I mean I would say that wouldn’t I? You suspicious lot. This is why I live outside of town inside a hollowed-out whale carcass. I think I sometimes ping evil just because of the smell.

(Re-reading the rules looking for smells causing evil detectors to give false negatives…

…)

Preposterous.

Right, one last thing before I go to bed and you all mob me, I forgot I whispered to my other neighbour, declaring I am in team Good, and straight away I get a nomination back from him.

Highly suspicious.

Just to be clear, a positive evil for me would be a false positive. Very false. I am not evil. It’s just the rendered blubber that makes people think I am.

For clarification, the “wait to reveal” I was referring to was that Chewy posted that they were an outsider, and then later posted which outsider they were, once any potential rivals were revealed.

Anyway, as you may have guessed, I’m voting Yes!

Even if he isn’t Satan Incarnate, what use is a bloody Butler anyway?

I think @Chewy77 has made his arguments. Has anyone else got anything to add or point out before I reveal my vote?

Yes I do I am afraid, @Chewy77 told me he was the butler in the first whisper to me. Which was well before subsequent admissions. I have no reason to believe him but it means he did not wait, so @GabrielH is jumping the gun I think.

I note that this could make me more suspicious by defending him, but I believe he deserves an even chance.

At the moment I think with two possible indications of evil towards chewy, they are the most likely candidate if we are going to execute today.

I hate how this game makes me want to not kill people.

I’m voting no, it’s not that I don’t think chewy is evil. It’s that I don’t think they are the big evil, so see limited gains to kill them just now.

Gives @Chewy77 the stink eye. Checks his glass for more beer.

What’s the worst that could happen.
