After seeing that Bring Your Own Book had a new reprint in German, I looked on BGG and saw that:

What a banger lineup

Fingers crossed that it’ll be for this year’s SPIEL

I bought 3e for $26 and sold it for $120. I kinda like to have this in the back pocket, just in case, but I’ll probably sit tight this time around and await a future where I’ll actually play it.

I assume the gameplay will be better than the books.

“I have the secret superpowers! I always win!”
“No, I have the more secret superer powers!”
“Guys, I hate to mention this…”

Crab Rage has one of the most bonkers themes I’ve seen in ages. “Compete in post-apocalyptic crab wrestling.” It’s not quite Cosmic Frog levels of insanity, but it’s well and truly daft enough to make me want to know more :).

Ah, I miss playing games in a bookshop. Really made BYOB shine.

Looking forward to more Wingspan with Wingspan Pocket. Looks neat based on the first reviews and might work well as a cafe game.

As one of my most played games ever, I am looking forward to this!

Interesting way to include new cards without diluting the main deck: mission cards that you accomplish to get a new card, which gets placed on top of your deck.

25 cards per side with associated mission cards to purchase them, 10 more bases per side, and then alternate starting cards you can purchase for a new five game campaign mode, or use in an “accelerated startup” game. Lots to enjoy here.

Oh, Queen’s dilemma is out here soon. It got great reviews, maybe I’ll… WHOA

Is this the new normal for a one-time legacy game?

What are we looking at there?

Are you saying that this game comes in six boxes and costs six hundred pounds?

No no, it’s https://boardgameprices.co.uk/ saying that the main places online are selling it for £100. And I may be jaded etc, but I missed the day when £100 became so normal, especially for a game you play through legacy once and maybe miss some of the content on.

Correct. it was priced like that when I was looking for it

It just took me by surprise. No big plastic minis, it’s just card and boxes, I was really expecting £60.
