Seems that I’m continuing my questionable streak of pre-order choices as I’ve pre-ordered Magical Athlete with Wayland Games instead of a more reliable vendor. In my defence it is because they had a Gunpla in stock that I was waiting for!
Guess we’ll see whether I run into any issues

from experience, deep discounters like Wayland, Magic Madhouse, Chaos Cards, etc etc get stocks last while smaller shops get them first, but you have to pay premium with the latter

Must say, the card artwork is very nice, I like the style of it. That said, I already have 3rd edition and this doesn’t seem to change much other than adding another hunter and the shorter time variant, which I should be able to look up and do anyway should I want to.

Having an extra choice of Hunters would be nice and the idea of a quicker game is good too. I wonder what sort of “plague” would remove Spain, Portugal and Italy from the map though. Fervent Catholicism, perhaps? Would explain the Count’s reluctance to go there.
