The designer clue narrowed it down to about 30000
Yes, it’s figuring out the day number (currrenly 230something) and taking the remainder of that divided by the length of answer array. So it will wrap around. If you set the date before day zero, that will be negative, which is likely to be a problem, but I don’t care to see if it deals with it.
The programmer foolishly assumed time progresses steadily in one direction
