I think you might be right
My initial strategy is.
I use a word with 2 vowels, and if that is out of luck, use a different word with 2 other vowels. There are a few common consonants I like to use to find or exclude as early as possible.
Managed to forget a letter from the beginning, sigh.

That one was hard!!! Sometimes getting two letters just makes it so much more frustrating. Felt like I had used all the alphabet by the end
Made some silly mistakes but got there in the end:

Interesting. The game refreshes at midnight, local time. I have over 6 hours before game 201 is available for me.

Hoo! Not easy.
Wordle 201 4/6
It helped that I eliminated all the other vowels in my first 3 guesses, but it took me so long to find a word that fit BA___. I was like “Bajan? That can’t be right.”
Wordle 201 4/6

I like this
It’s weird how your brain works sometimes on 200 I thought of tiler knowing the ti_er, before thinking of tiger.

Off to a fabulous start with that initial guess…
Doesn’t seem to have slowed you any in getting the solution.
Pure luck: last letter almost certainly fitted only one other location; that left an uncommon ending, so had relatively few words I could think of to fit and happened to pick the right one.
