Only 760 on Guess the board game today. Looked at designer, made a wrong guess, then used the first letter hint to get the right answer.

I’m getting lazy - defaulting to the same two words for first two guesses, regardless of whether or not I get any matches on the first. I suppose I’m more interested in never failing than I am in getting to the answer in two guesses.

My first guess was a bit on the adventurous side… and 3 was pure luck coming from the first two.
It is fascinating how much easier this is for me in English and I wonder if it is generally easier because English is better suited or because I practiced word games in English recently?

My standard opening two guesses got me three letters and I was able to eliminate some other positions for them based on what they were.
Took me an age to figure out what the word was though. Kept going back to CHIRP even though I’d eliminated the H.
