V-Commandos: Red Fish

Rightoh. I’ll probably process this tomorrow…

Officer: up, shoot door, save 1.
Sapper: up, W, collect TNT, E.

@Lordof1 - Anneke in the south still to act.

Up, save. Sorry that took a while!

  • Enemy reinforcements, North
    enemy-2
    enemy-2-gasmask
  • South
    enemy-1
    enemy-1
    enemy-1
    enemy-2
    enemy-2-gasmask
    enemy-1
    enemy-2
  • Enemy movement: north S, south W.
  • No enemy firing

Turn 2

Event north:

(event has no effect, unpredictable movement)
Event south:

In the south: the small spaces along the edges are where we need to be to stay hidden, but they’ll keep filling up with enemies. However, if we all end up in the same one, the enemy can’t get into it…I’m thinking about the officer at least doing some stealthy shooting.

In the north, Bruno will silently shoot open the door to his W, then move E and save.

In the south is it worth our moving W, so that we are blocking an enemy entrance?

It’ll cost him 2 to move E stealthily, so no chance to save. Is that OK?

I think so. Then we silently shoot as many enemy as we can.

In an ideal world, we have a “blatant” turn when everybody clears the central area, then the sapper runs into the first large tile (1), plants the charge (0), runs west twice (2), plants the other charge (0), and runs to a small tile (1). That leaves us with the alarm sounding but the mission done. Seems to me that taking that machine gun is the prerequisite. So perhaps we should move into the small area opposite the central tile?

It’ll have to be, I guess.

Makes sense. If we have serious difficulty with the MG nest, we could gas the tile, but let’s try to avoid that.

Hmm. Gas doesn’t generate an alarm. That might be a good option.

Remember also that I can stealth kill even while visible, if that helps.

Ooo. Hadn’t realised that.

OK, in the south, the officer is the stealthy shooter, so let’s see what we can do.

Move W (1)
Shoot W (1)
Needing 4+:
@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 1, 5

Move W again (1)
Keep saved action.

In the north, Bruno will wall-hop E, and shoot silently N at the guard on the first objective.

@discobot roll 2d6

:game_die: 4, 1

Got him, move N stealthily. Would the intelligence officer care to start on the vault? Does Bruno have to go there, after doing objective 1, to hand over the code?

In the south, the sniper will move W twice and keep her saved action.

I’ll get the sapper into (stealthy) position too. @Lordof1, over to you.

Whoops, Bruno has acted twice on this turn. Unwind it, or skip the next turn?

Okay - intelligence officer: West, then silent shot west.

@discobot roll 1d6

:game_die: 3
